The staff is just lovely! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Having pickup from the ferry was very convenient, and we didn't even know that our driver was actually the owner of the hotel. He provided excellent information about getting around the island and made excellent recommendations for restaurants and beaches. Breakfast was delicious with a large offering of options, and having it outside overlooking the pool was perfect. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Air conditioning worked very well. We loved talking to the staff and learning about how the hotel came to be. The pool is gorgeous and perfectly clean. Easy to get beach towels for the pool or beach from the desk.

While not at all a problem for us, those staying should be aware that it's about a ten minute walk into town. The return walk is up a hill. It would not be advisable for anyone with mobility issues. This is not a complaint - it's just something people should be aware of.

Very pleasant small hotel on a hilltop near the town. Beautiful gardens and pool; good breakfast included (although the restriction to one OJ and one espresso coffee per guest seemed a bit mean-minded). Our room was spacious with a great balcony and excellent sea views; room furnishings and decor perfectly adequate though a bit dated. Robes provided; good shower, comfortable bed. Cleaning staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Transport provided from and to the ferry port on arrival /departure.

Only real downside for us was that the climb up to the hotel from the town was a bit arduous for one of us in our seventies.

My stay on the Greek island of Koufonisia was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I booked, the hotel’s hospitality shone through. They sent informative messages ahead of time, allowing me to check in online, which made my arrival smooth and quick. Their service is truly top-notch—they even waited for me at the port to pick me up and drive me to the hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient. I was delighted to receive my room several hours before the official check-in time, which I really appreciated. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained gardens and a thoughtful design that blends perfectly with the island’s charm. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully designed, with a gorgeous terrace that overlooked the resort’s lush gardens, sparkling pool, and offered a breathtaking view of the sea. The staff on-site were always friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. The quality of the food was outstanding, with a variety of fresh, delicious options. Watching them squeeze fresh orange juice right in front of you was a special touch that made the experience even better. Overall, the service, staff, and experience at this hotel surpass even some of the best 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in.

If I had to find something to complain about, I’d have to make it up—there was truly nothing to dislike! It’s a hidden gem on Koufonisia.

This hotel is great in a good position 10 minutes walk to port and town The owner picks you up and drops you at the port very friendly guy The pool is great and nice to come back to relax This place is really clean you always see people cleaning and tidying up Breakfast was included and although good it is always the same each day The room was big clean and they leave a bottle of wine for your arrival which is a nice touch The owners are friendly and helpful We liked our stay but don’t think we will return we saw a better place

The bed wasn’t very comfortable with a cheap mattress which was disappointing They offer laundry service but want to charge €45 !!! for a bag we only paid €12 /€15 on other islands and in serifos it was free which was amazing Sometimes the breakfast staff weren’t very friendly

Beautiful property on the tranquil island of Koufonisia. Nice location not too far from the main beach and town. Staff were very helpful and gave great recommendations of local beaches and restaurants. Room was exceptionally clean and well-equipped. Loved having a pool and the breakfast was extensive.

The bed was very hard for my preference, but I'm sure some people like beds like that.

Hotel Aeolos is in a very good location: only a five-minute walk to the beach and the town. The rooms are very large and comfortable. From my room I had a beautiful view of the uninhabited island of Keros. The hotel is in a semi-rural location. It is very quiet. The only noise was the sound of the bells of grazing goats. The landscaping and decor of the hotel reflects the culture of the Cyclades. The breakfast was very good. I stayed on the island of Hydra, Paradise Beach on the island of Mykonos, the towns of Parikia and Naousa on the island of Paros, Naxos town on the island of Naxos and in Hotel Aeolos on the island of Koufonisia during the four weeks when I was in Greece. Hotel Aeolos was the place that I enjoyed the most.

Wi-Fi often did not work.

Amazing Staff. you couldn't ask for better people. The Rooms were very well kept. lots of amenities. and the view from our room was amazing. It was of the garden which is kept up better than an amusement park. We called it the garden of Eden. Because it was so perfect

It was at the top of a large hill. Sometimes we were toast by the time we got to the top. We are a bit older ( In our 60's)

We had an incredible stay here. The hotel staff were kind, welcoming and had great recommendations for where to eat, drink and visit on the island (such as Sorokos Bar, Finikas Restaurant and Pori Beach/Piscina). The room we stayed in was generously sized, clean and comfortable. Free transfers to and from the port were included and the staff kindly let us use the pool facilities even after checking out. Would love to come back again soon!

Beautiful big, clean room with large balcony over looking the pool and sea. Lovely breakfast.

I really did not like the two caged birds in the breakfast area. Although the breakfast was lovely it was the same limited offering every day and as we stayed for seven nights it became a little boring. It would have been nice to have a variety of pastries etc

We stayed at Aeolos hotel for a week. It is very close to the town and supermarket (5-10 mins walk) but also to the port and sea. The staff is helpful, friendly and well organized. They drove us back and forth to the port and they offered us a bottle of wine for welcoming us to the island. The rooms are new and clean (exactly as they show in the pics) with good quality linen and towels. The breakfast also is perfect, offering a variety of typical greek delicacies but also more common choices for international travelers. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and we would choose it again for sure.

Maybe the only thing for the hotel to pay attention to is the airconditions maintenance, as when we were turning it on the air smelled bad. Other than that we have no other remarks.
