What an amazing place, in a lovely quiet part of Holsted. Dogs are welcome, and we took advantage of the short nature wall by the park that follows a placid, pretty stream. The hotel has an eclectic decor, with themed rooms that are full of character and comfort. And they are incredibly spacious, many of them perfectly suited for families or large parties. We stayed in the Karen Blixen suite and it was incredibly comfortable and restful. The breakfast has no hot food options (beyond boiled eggs at request and a self-serve.waffle-maker), but it had a great selection of musli, jams, bread and cheese, deli cuts, pastries, and more.

Nice spacious room with big bath tube and very comfortable bed. Nice amenities for bath/shower. While I did not take breakfast the room looks very nice with the plane. Parking on site. Staff lacks knowledge of English to guide the guest.

Lighting at both entry door and outside window side cannot be switched off and was still on around 11pm. You have some curtains to block incoming light but not top (lights are strong). There is a nice outside terasse just opposite entrance door but the outdoor chairs have lost much of their paint and are rosty/oxidated. It leaves a bad impression.

One of the best experience we had. Wonderful rooms, nice decorations. Thank you to the owner for a very late check in. On our way to Legoland supposed to stop in Germany but we decided to travel without stopping. We couldn’t extended the day so we stayed in this little gem for one night. Very good location for Viking museum, Legoland, Lalalandia. Delicious breakfast and small playground for kids.

Apartment was medium sized but well laid out. We enjoyed our stay and were comfortable. Breakfast is excellent but not always included. Dinner finished early so we missed out.

There is local grocery store but pizza place did not make good pizzas. Not much option if you arrive late. I think room did not have microwave but otherwsie OK to make basic meal.

A last minute decision to stay at this hotel and it was perfect. They accommodated our needs perfectly and nothing was a bother. The accommodation is quirky but suited our needs.

I cannot fault this accommodation.

Friendly staff and owner, always very helpful. Really nice small restaurant for dinner. We have really enjoyed our stay here, nice atmosphere in the middle of a small town .

Did not ruin the overall impression, but a few small things like TV remote not working or some beside lamps without bulbs or some dust in more hidden corners.

The hosts are absolutely lovely. The city is chill. The hotel is right in the middle of the city. I think this is far most the best hotel in the region

Very comfortable accommodation. Excellent dinner and breakfast with friendly service. Easy access and free parking. This is a unique hotel with many personal touches to rooms and outdoor seating for coffee and wines - we loved the big four poster bed.

Boutique feel with loving attention to detail evident throughout the apartment. Good location, restaurant, facilities, close to shops, easy parking.

Had some allergies triggered by dust in the loft/ upper levels of attic. A lot of dust on top of the beams in the ceiling which look difficult to clean.
