Great place to stay for an overnight stop on journey to Alps. Would definitely use again and would even consider spending a few nights here if I wanted to explore St Quentin for a few days. Host stayed up to greet us despite our late arrival time. Our apartment was on top floor and had a twin room and double room - both rooms were clean, large, with blackout blinds, and with very comfortable beds. Lounge area was large with comfortable pull-out bed - shared space with well-equipped kitchen. Small bathroom off kitchen with excellent shower. Wifi worked. Everything was finished to a high and modern/tasteful standard.

Nothing.

Very pleasant and helpful host. Lovely breakfast. Good sized comfortable room and comfy bed. I slept well.Easy access to the town centre.

The hall security camera beeps a lot and can be clearly heard in the bedroom through the traditional but thin doors. Not a big issue. A few people tried the bedroom door clearly thinking it' is the entrance. Perhaps some more signage would help

The room, bathroom, outside garden area and general perspective was excellent.

The only difficulty was that having a disability, we had to park round the corner in another street. However, the accommodation itself is first class.

Good location with on-street parking, about 10 mins on foot from the town centre with an easy route. Helpful, friendly hosts in terms of pre arrival contact, flexibility and advice re local amenities. Pleasant breakfast.

There were tea and coffee facilities in the room, but no milk. Fortunately I had some of my own but had I not that would have been an issue. I am confident it would have been provided had I asked, but as the hosts were absent at my arrival, this would have involved a delay. This is a very minor point which I provide simply for the benefit of the hosts who clearly aspire to a perfect bed and breakfast and just about otherwise achieve it.

Alex was the perfect host and our room was exactly as pictured. The bed was comfy and the shower was good too. We were in a ‘Deluxe Double Room’ which was lovely and quiet, and we had the optional breakfast which was great - a chocolate croissant, bread, fresh fruit salad and apple compote. Great value and we would definitely return if we’re back in this area.

Nothing.

A beautiful apartment for my one night which was warm and clean and very comfortable on my trip further down South. I spoke on telephone to wife of Rambur ( apologies as he was detained elsewhere) who gave me entry code access and spoke to me as I found everything I needed for the nights stay and rest! Messages later to check if all was OK as well. I was very impressed and happy! Thank you both and I look forward to another stay! Tony Rickell

Nothing as all was perfect. Clean and warm. It made me want to spend more time there and in St Quentin...next time!.

Good location. Modern refurbishment and decor. Good basic room facilities. Excellent local restaurant proposal by host.

This is an old building. Poor sound isolation is to be expected but obviously better noise insulation would be an improvement. Not a dislike, more an mmmmm.

Very spacious, light lovely space to stay in

Communication about the stay was basic. The shower was stuck on very hot.

Great clean place, nicely refurbished old house, very good size, excellent communication with the host. Thank you!

I would suggest adding simple toiletries (soap/shampoo) as people usually expect to find them in B&Bs and don't carry them anymore while travelling.

The room was pleasant and clean with tea and coffee available. The breakfast was brilliant - chocolate croissant, baguette, yoghurt, conserves, nuts fruit juice! The staff were lovely and served us well.

I wasn't sent the code for the door so had to make a phone call on arrival. The curtains in the room are very thin and leak light but fortunately dawn wasn't too early when we were there.
