This was our third visit. We were greeted like long lost family. The food at both breakfast and dinner is superb, everything freshly prepared, a chef who obviously didn’t use a microwave. Hot items at breakfast cooked to order.the pool area is utterly beautiful with sparkling clean pool and spa. The pool area has many sunbeds, settees, tables and chairs, cover from the sun etc. There is an ice cream bar! Our dog was very welcome but not in the restaurant but they did offer to lay a table in the bar area, which would have been very comfortable, but we decided to eat on the terrace with our dog. The staff are attentive but not overly familiar. It’s worth paying the extra to have one of the very newly refurbished and stylish rooms.
The parking for cars had no shade or covering to shield it from the sun. The A/C was a bit marginal for temperatures that exceeded 32 degrees.

We made a last minute booking for they way home to Germany and oh man are we ever glad we did! Such a beautiful hotel, owned and operated by a super sweet family. Beautiful location right at the lake, rooms were stellar, pool was a godsend in the heat and the food was scrumptious! We will definitely find our way back to Hotel Florida in the not so distant future!!

The location is excellent and the hotel is very fine and familiar. For dinner we went out which was a very good idea. Check out time 10 is definitely to early !

wonderful location and fabulous swimming pool, friendly staff, nice terrace for a drink and dinner in the evening
the bathroom smelt a bit of old drains, but I don’t think this is unique to this hotel. it’s probably old plumbing. the bathroom was spotlessly clean however.

Really pleasant, very welcoming and available staff, nice rooms, very clean, well situated on the lake. Good breakfast.
