I'm a repeat customer. I will seek out this clean motel with the friendly staff whenever we travel across two states for our family reunions. Important for us: the fridge is not tiny. It's one of the larger type motel fridges, and it has an upper freezer and a lower cooler, which is great. Lots of places only have a tiny cooler with no freezer section. FYI: the Mexican Restaurant in this little town is excellent.

This time, we noticed immediately that the freezer part of the cooler didn't work, so the staff gave us a different room and all was good.

The breakfast was good---waffles, pancakes, cereal, muffins, biscuits & gravy, bananas & coffee; no eggs, bacon or other fruit. The staff was very informative. The bed and A/C were very comfortable.

The tub/shower was broken in Room #118. First, the faucet stayed on after the shower started. But more importantly, the lever that opened the drain was broken and had to be held down manually to drain the tub after our showers were concluded.

A very clean older motel that has been upgraded. Attention to detail to provide everything you need. The breakfast room was clean, well prepared and offered a good selection from biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles fruit, cereal etc. The motel is right off of I 80 and there are plenty of options for places to eat close by. The friendly staff works hard to make this a comfortable, relaxing experience. The pricing was excellent.

The AC worked great, the room had plenty of towels. Everything was very clean and in working order. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We especially enjoyed the pancake maker and the sausage was very good. They had a nice variety of foods. The only thing I would suggest is adding some creamer in the coffee area, but everything was fantastic. We stayed twice in one week and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Everything was great

The room was very clean! The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was updated and very clean. The mini fridge came in handy. The floor was a new vinyl and wet mopped clean. The breakfast was good. It was a hot and cold breakfast. The hotel definitely exceeded my expectations!

The smell of smoke outside the rooms was something I did not like. It was under the overhang on the first and second floors.

I thought the breakfast was wonderful and the location was superb. There wasn't the congestion of traffic flow like there are in some other motels.

I never was able to use the wifi. It was probably me not knowing how to do it, but i did ask another patron to help me and she couldn't get it either.

The staff was friendly and the accommodations were comfortable and clean. The front desk clerk made several recommendations for restaurants in the area, and there was a friendly gentleman at breakfast who greeted us and ensured we had what we needed. The breakfast options were varied and delicious.

This was a return visit, great motel in a fun little city. Take time to check out the museum. Nothing fancy but clean, well kept and comfortable. On our list of return locations.

No real complaints. There was a slightly noisy party close by but did not impede sleep. It is hard to control that issue.

Convenient location near the interstate. Included a good breakfast, which is always a big thing for me. Staff were friendly, and the room was clean, if a bit dated.

Outlets were high above the bed, so I couldn't plug my phone in to charge and put it on the bedside table.

At the front desk, Bill’s attitude and efficiency was exceptional. He has managed this property for 31 years, and this showed in how the rooms and grounds were kept up. On check-in, we received our preference of a room downstairs with parking right in front. He recommended the north side, which was quieter. Sure enough, large trucks parked on the south side or the west end. The lobby displayed a detailed menu of the various hot and cold breakfast items, and we were not disappointed in the large breakfast room the next morning. The room was larger than expected and the bed was comfortable. Despite the age of this budget motel, everything worked and was as clean as my grandma would require of her own home.

There was a faint perfumed odor when we checked in. We were able to clear the air by cracking the door and running the bathroom fan.
