everything was great. The spa was really nice. It might have been nice to be able to visit more than once per day and without pre-reserving, but I understand the reasons to prevent overcrowding. Overall there was an atmosphere of quiet comfort and luxury, closer to five star than to four star. The overall eexperience was very positive and relaxing. I would highly recommend it.

The breakfast was great, with many gluten free items, which was good for me, but a few different items each day might be nice, for variety. Overall it was a generous and delicious breakfast, though. Most of the staff were really going out of their way to be helpful, but there were a couple of isolated, minor episodes with employees who were less positive and helpful than most were. So, overall there was a very positive customer service atmosphere of making us feel well taken care of, though a few employees could use some more development with this (such as, don't scold a guest who asks for another spa towel since the one he had was taken away by someone else while he was in the jaccuzzi... it is not the fault of the guest.)

The facilities are beautiful and rooms are comfortable (except shower), the spa is amazing, staff courteous

The shower space is tiny, less than 1 square meter, you can barely move during shower. Which is actually weird given that bathroon is large. There should be a cafe or a less fancy restaurant for regular meals

The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The service is friendly, although at times slow. The spa could be managed a bit better and controlled so that rules and regulations are better followed, but overall I was pleased with the amenities offered. Their house produced wine was delicious.

Spa could have been managed a bit better. The bistro could offer more variety for lunch. At the restaurant, guests should be offered an option of a la carte or the fixed tasting menu. Often times, we believed the fixed menu was all that was available and it wasn't always what we wanted to eat that given evening.

When I am back in Italy, it is always my favourite place to recharge, relax, and reconnect with myself while spending quality time with my best friends.

Wonderful location, Staff, Food, SPA. New rooms by the SPA are incredible! Reception was very helpful in providing us with info of what to see in the area. The hotel baked a delicious cake for my daughter’s birthday. Excellent experience. Borgo Lanciano highly recommended!

The spa facilities were amazing. This was the most relaxing day of our trip. The property is first class with great attention to every detail. The meals are delicious, and the staff is top notch

Equipment in bathroom in our room is very poor. The shower, the toilet cover - need to be changed. It would be fair to write on the booking clearly that spa is extra charged (35 € for 3h).

+ some rooms are quite dark with imited day light + restaurant relatively expensive

Courtesy, help and very friendly staff. They made our stay enjoyable and they were always keen to help and assist from checkin to checkout!
