I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Excellent location just outside the national park, great views. Clean rooms. Very relaxing. Staff are super friendly. The views from the rooms vary and only some have balcony so worth checking this when booking. I had an excellent view over the savannah and the water hole from my balcony. Saw some elephants from afar but no animals came to the waterhole during my stay. At times I had one of the swimming pools all to myself (besides the monkeys watching me). Some Kenyan families visiting which I thought was nice. I haven’t stayed at another lodge but from what I can tell, good value for money.

The food is no culinary experience but perfectly fine for a couple of days. Animals at the waterhole is no guarantee - take it as a bonus if elephants show up, apparently they do on most days depending on season and their mood.

The location, Facilities and staff were absolutely amazing.

The rooms were exceptionally warm making sleeping uncomfortable. Air conditioning would make the stay way better after a decent nights sleep.

Amazing view. Elephants that are almost within hand reach. Very magical experience to be there. They have some beautiful gardens around and the staff is friendly.

Lots of ants in the room, but that is to be expected when you're in a lodge. Also, some guests were very loud and fighting when the elephants were near. The breakfast was OK. Nothing too special. Some fruits, some egg, etc... Didn't think much of it.

The staff was super kind and available. I had forgotten my phone charger and adapter in the room and the staff was so kind to send it to me in Nairobi. The location is also very great with elephants roaming in the front park area.

I had a cold shower maybe was a problem with my room. Though was not really cold so it was find.

Room is spacious and staff are polite. Food is generous and sincere.

need some renovation. not convenient for travellers without vehicles. If possible, arrange complimentary train station shuttle? There are just 2 trains anyway.

Location was amazing with wide open spaces and amazing wildlife viewing. The staff were very accommodating and made our stay really great.

on boundary of Tsavo East national reserve overlooking the reserve and two waterholes. viewing platforms right over the waterhole and bar and restaurant immediately in front. Nice clean pool. Everywhere kept spotless. very high ratio of staff to guests. impeccable caring service by all staff. very nicely prepared fresh meals to suit all tastes.

Nothing not to like. The access road however is in need of maintenance.

i love that it was soooo close to the wildlife

granted it’s hard to control this. I saw a scorpion on my pillow just before going to bed. there were many bugs, spiders, crickets, moths, grasshoppers but the scorpion on my bed was terrifying.

The staff are soooo friendly and helpful!!!! The room was large and the bed was comfortable. It was great for a one night stay.

The hotel isn't easily accessible. I tried to use Google maps but got lost along the way.

Located next to a waterhole with superb close up views of elephant and other animals and birds.

Access road difficult at present due to road works ! Plugs in basins can be a problem !
