I was there for 3 nights with two others. The resort was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. It’s pretty much just the resort in this area. And this was fine by me. We stayed in a spacious suite with a queen bed, a double bed, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen/sitting area. Our room had a fridge and kettle. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable but on the softer side. It’s right on the Red Sea. I knew from previous reviews that there is no swimming in the sea from the beach due to the coral. But we went there for the snorkeling along the reef (access from the end of the pier) and it did not disappoint. I brought my own snorkeling gear so there was no extra cost for myself. One in my group rented equipment from the diving shop for 10euros a day. The reef and fish were stunning. We were out every day, 2 days we had to wait for the wind and waves to calm before entering but it was never so bad that we had to lose a day. Though we were not a part of the diving groups, the diving staff on the pier were friendly and helpful with any questions. We had half board - breakfast and dinner. We loved the food. We had three dinners and each was different. Duck, veal, and chicken were each served on a different night along with many other choices. The kefta they served one night was wonderful. Staff were great, ready to help. I had expected pressure to tip but not one person asked. There was a tip box at the kitchen, bar, and reception. We put tips in there. We made the mistake of thinking the box at the bar was for all the servers but we were told on the last morning it’s for the staff at the bar. As multiple servers help during a meal, aside from giving something to every person, I’m not sure there was a way to tip them as a group.

The only challenge we encountered was on departure we had booked a pick up ride through InDrive (one in my party frequently uses this) and the resort did not want us to leave with this service/driver. We eventually had to sign a waiver saying the resort would bear no responsibility should something happen. The resort does book shuttle service and it seems like they might recognize uber (but uber was harder to arrange transport to this area). Maybe discuss with the resort ahead of time if pick up arrangements are made independently.

I loved everything about Rohanou Beach Resort, the installations are fenomenal, you have shops inside the resort, so you don’t need to look around! Activists for people that like activities and not just seating by the pool. But even if you choose to seat by the pool is absolutely great 3 fantastic pools ! But the truth value of this place for me was the staff!!! Everyone member of the staff is always available to assist you in anything you need or make it happen, they go above and beyond to inshore you have everything you need. The price vs services offered is great! I chose breakfast & dinner and the price was very good! The variety of options you have in termos of food, they think about all tastes. I’m definitely returning next year !!

Wi-Fi only at reception and in the restaurant, and often unstable. No German TV channels (if you are travelling alone, you sometimes want to watch something). Drinks also only in the restaurant and not in the lobby, where you often sit because of the WLAN. It is better to have an Egyptian sim card.

Food was bad and they tey to charge you things that are included in the all inclusive like soda water they tried!
