Convenience right on the main road. Enjoyed doing a bush walk through the bushveld camp spotting kudu, sable and impala. Although quite pricey at R155 my wife enjoyed the Breakfast whilst I was away and she loved the patatoe frittas. I enjoyed a chat with the owner about the Boer war that was fought in the area. The local cat was a bonus and took to us and we loved it...

All was good, and hopefully the geyser was sorted out in our bungalow, but I did manage to jump into another unit and get cleaned up... If u arrive early your car will stand in Sun as there is no shade during the midday hours and extreme heat...

The stay was a dream come true. Management & staff were so competent, willing & genuinely happy. We felt so welcome. Accommodation was almost perfect. Detail carefully considered: aesthetically attractive, comfortable, clean.

In the sleeping accommodation: Wiring of the electrics for the wifi, tv, fridge, microwave, kettle relied on a single plug point. A small table next to these appliances for prepping a hot drink or snack was missing. These minor details caused inconvenience with time wasting and could cause safety issues.

Staff was super friendly and the service/hospitality was amazing. Tranquil surroundings with enough space to escape the kids(when quiet time was needed) and ample playing spaces for the kids to escape the parents:-) Special thanks to Bridgette who went above the call of duty, internally grateful!

Absolutely nothing not to like.

Very good location on the way to the northern part of Kruger with easy stocking up in Louis Trichardt. We stayed here for over 20 years, the family who runs it takes care for you and for their accomodation. Restaurant recommended.

The location works well for travel along the northern sections of the N1. The staff are very helpful and there are good services with a restaurant that one can eat at which is great given the location away from any towns. Over all a pleasant experience

The staff were friendly and warm and the place very clean. The hotel is very easy to find too

The shower top in the unit I booked😩 and the traffic noise due to its location. Those are the only two things I wish I could change

The accommodation is good and there is a fascinating historical content to the place which makes it a good stopover.

As can be expected being close to the N1 you do hear the traffic from the N1.

Nothing..everything was perfect. Maybe a separate zink for dishes so that you do not wash dishes in bathroom but it was not a train smash. Parking for cars too far from your room. We were worried due to car theft etc.

The lady at d reception was perfect,very helpful and extremely friendly

The staff were exceptional. Yolandie called to check we were travelling ok as we arrived at night. She was extremely accommodating and friendly. We will definitely stay there again!
