Everything!! This is going to be a long one. Unfortunately ours was only a two nights stay and we took pictures from the camera and posting this review from mobile so no picture. We were warmly received by Nevin and other staff. The room was sparkling clean, comfortable beds, well ventilated, spacious with modern amenities. The kitchen too was spacious and all appliances fully working. The bathroom and all linen were clean. The property is full of greenery and few friendly pets with victorian style artifacts around the property which made us feel as if we time travelled 100 years back but at the same time had high speed wi fi too. We had breakfast only two mornings but Nevin made sure it was something new and different both the days.Lip smacking breakfast both mornings super delicious.Nevin is Extremely helpful, courteous, generous and kind. You can call him a couple of days in advance or put up a mail about your dietary requirements Or other requirements and he will make sure you eat the most and best food.Here we were not treated as a room Or couple but Nevin made sure individually too our requirements are met. The other staff is also well trained and polite. It is a completely safe property even if you have small babies everything can be taken care of. Lots of sunlight and seating area.. Sit back and relax with a book. On our 16 nights trip of the entire Eastern Cape.. We spent the least for this and loved this the most. 100% value for money. This was more than a home... The hospitality was phenomenal. Niven is a fantastic host always going the extra mile. His establishment is fabulous, clean, neat, comfortable and he keeps a high standard. Breakfast is to die for and fantastic value for money. We would highly recommend Geckos and will deffinately be back. I can truly not say 1 bad word about Geckos 😍😍😍😍

Very very sweet place. A lovely garden garden that makes you feel in a little bubble out of time , very nice bedrooms with lots of space and a small kitchen to be independent, spotless clean. In itself , the property deserve a 10 out of 10. But what makes it extra special is the very kind owner , Niven, going the extra mile for you, cooking delicious breakfast, giving you tips and always making you feel welcome. It is a very special place , and honestly for the price you have a 3 star service. Really the best quality ratio I had so far in a month and a half in South Africa , don’t hesitate to go there. The road leading to Coffee bay was repaired so you can definitely access with all kind of cars and so did I either my little Toyota Aygo . Thanks again

Everything was top notch

This is a hidden gem. Set in beautiful gardens, the room is exactly as the pictures show. Clean, neat, and cozy. The breakfast was excellent, absolutely delicious. Niven was a great host, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

We couldn't find the place because there aren't any signs up. You need to put up a big sign with the name of the place and an arrow pointing in the right direction. The roads are in a terrible state in the entire area. Small cars are a big no-no!

Breakfast was super nice. We really enjoyed every bit of it. Niven the host was very nice and friendly. He goes an extra mile to make sure the guests are happy. He made sure we were well taken care of. It was a home away from home.

Property is a bit old it could do with some renovations but at least the host tries his level best to make sure you feel at home.

Geckos B&B was absolutely exceptional! Niven truly goes above and beyond to accommodate guests and make them feel welcome. His friendly chats added a personal touch that made the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was outstanding, the place was impeccably clean and neat, and Niven is simply a fantastic person. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

Very friendly and comfortable. Location is a bit difficult. Make sure to fully stock for a self catering experience. Breakfast was great, so dont miss out on that. Good restaurants, especially Jac’s. For snacks and bits and pieces rather bring with.

Loved the property. The area would be a gem if developed a bit further. Sanral and dept of transport need to deliver on their promises to repair the roads leading to Coffee bay. This community has waited long enough.

The owner so friendly and his dog so adorable although I'm afraid of dogs, the breakfast prepared by the own was so nice, the beach was marvelous, place is very safe with lovely people

On arrival you might think you took a wrong turn but wait until you relaxed and experienced the beautiful beach and it's people

Everything was great. A very pleasant quite relaxing establishment with an extremely friendly dog and a few ducks to add to the rural atmosphere. The host was excellent and the breakfasts were out of this world. Will definitely stay here next time that we are in Coffee Bay. Niven was also very helpful with restaurant suggestions.

There was nothing

Navine is just wonderful. he goes the extra mile to ensure his guests are comfortable and happy. He even had umbrella's available for us on arrival in the rain. His pets are dog friendly. The breakfast is superb. The basic kitchen in our unit was just what we needed for the three days stay. Simple, comfortable and clean. The bed was great, firm and king size. We were very happy here, I would highly recommend his spot.

I cannot say that there was anything we did not like. Everything was to our satisfaction.
