Facilities were of a good variety and easy to book, jacuzzi was cool

The meals at Bergview restaurant were not at all good. We ordered steak medium rare but were given ones that were well done and inedible. These were sent back and came back rare and very salty. The pizzas that we ordered from the Bistro were also not good. The meals in general were of poor standard. We were unable to use the air rifle due to shortage of pellets and it closed at 3. The canoe team were not there to start us off and give advice and as a result we experienced much difficulty and eventually had to be rescued by a kind stranger who observed that we were in difficulty.

The Location is absolutely perfect and there are lots of facilities for family to enjoy

The breakfast at the restaurant was an awful experience as the restaurant could not cater for the number of guests .. We tried to make a booking as we were a family of 14 and was told That booking was not necessary . absolute chaos with ques . Definitely need to relook at the systems currently in place so that guests can have a better experience

The location was great, stunning views of the mountains from my cottage ,Jacuzzi and pool , were right at our doorstep. Bags of firewood delivered to our door. Even special delivery of chocolates for the kids.

I booked the cottage from a Saturday to Monday. Sadly, was not advised at reception or anywhere on the check in documents that the cottage is not serviced on a Sunday unless specifically requested. this was disappointing as we returned to a messy cottage. it was resolved quite quickly and needed to pay extra. but would have been appreciated if we were advised upon check in.

We were not told about the R60pp charge to use the jacuzzi in the wellness centre until after we were done using it. We purchased a few items from the convenience store which were long expired such as cup a soup, crackers and noodles, but the worst was a packet of biltong which was rotten and smelled terrible when we opened the packet. I suggest you pack whatever you need as the convenience store keeps expired goods.

The activities for the kids are great, from the pools to playgrounds, waterslides, and walks along the river. Everything we could possibly need was right there. Some upgrades have been done too since our last visit, which was nice to see. Chalets are very well equipped with everything we needed. Beds are comfy, good quality linen.

The kids missed the animals that used to be there (goats,etc). An indoor playground would be a nice addition for the rainy days, but otherwise no complaints.

Everything was super great. Will definitely be back But would avoid eating at Vine Knot restaurant

The Vine Knot restaurant was the only disappointment. The food was not up to standard. Menu looks great but food was a a very big disappointment, kids did not even finish the pizza as it was bad..Had to wait like over an hour fir main course to come.. .

The location was amazing, mountain view was gorgeous even from our bedrooms. We could see Garden Castle as clear as day. Many activities to keep us busy all day. Restaurant had good food. Service was excellent. There was everything to like, we loved the jacuzzi. The property is massive, we did the trail to Garden Castle by bakkie, even though it was so visible from our rooms.

We loved everything. There was nothing I can complain about.

Everything was perfect. The location, with breathtaking views. They have more than enough entertainment. The chalets are super clean with the friendliest staff, going the extra mile to make sure you have the best experience. I can't wait to go back. We absolutely loved every moment!

Unfortunately, the host was extremely rude at check-out time. Extra charges were added to our chalet for firewood etc. When explaining to the lady that we had not received any firewood and we showed her the exact amount that was signed for, her tone was extremely offensive.

The place is extraordinary damn if calmness was a place it would definitely be that place amazing views all round I had a relaxed week I just get refreshed thinking about it wow
