The resort location is perfect for those seeking a break from city life to reconnect with nature. The views are stunning. The facilities are world-class and offers entertainment for the whole family. The serene atmosphere is the perfect way to relax and recharge the mind and body. The staff are all incredibly pleasant and helpful, going out of their way to ensure the guests are comfortable at all times. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and they went all out, even baking a delicious birthday cake! But the best part of our stay was the restaurant. The breakfast and dinner buffet are value for money and caters to every palate and diet requirement. We had four breakfasts and four dinners during our stay and were amazed at the vast range of dishes prepared at each sitting. The quality, presentation and taste of each dish was top-class, perhaps one of the best in KZN. Compliments to Chef Pieter and his team on an amazing job. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a mountain breakaway!

Aibo I requested for a bath rope 2 days they didn’t give it to me I guess I was not an important guest and I could see that its not bcz its not there, they just ddnt want. I was feeling so cold I didn’t know the weather was gonna be so bad , coming down with flue I told them I forgot mines even my husband begged them but they refused

Everything, the staff was friendly, the room was perfect, the anniversary setting, the picnic, the food. All I can say is that everything was perfect🥰❣️, siyabuya ke sana for more🤣🥰❣️

The view are amazing, rooms are clean. Staff is also amazing. I enjoyed the walk to the waterfall.

The people dealing with finances were not organized, Mbali and Nana. I payed the full amount almost a month before the trip and I communicated with them prior to my arrival date with proof of payments and to my surprise....on the day of checking in, I was still questioned whether the booking was payed for??? They were still trying to find my proof of payment. Which was a bit annoying and embarrassing.

the cleanliness, well manicured gardens, the food, children friendly activities, entertainment offered, the art and the warm large fireplace all excellent 👌🏾

If you buy anything from curios shop using cash make sure you get a receipt as you may be accused of not paying!!!

it was fabulous to see the “new” Sani Pass Hotel in such great shape. I have been coming here for 39 years. Hats off to Premier Group.

Management visibility was scarce. The staff were excellent but I had no clue who the GM or his 2IC was. There appear to be a number of “day visitors” who go on hikes and then use the hotel pool. I noted what appeared to be a non resident family who brought their own drinks to the pool as well. In my opinion, this needs to be managed.

This resort was like a little jewel nestled in the middle of the most beautiful scenery! The property itself is really well maintained and there is so much to do that you definitely won’t be bored. Activities ranged from hiking to swimming to mini golf to board games near the fireplace to table tennis and snooker. We really loved the cozy lounges where we could curl up with a book or a drink. The variety and quality of the food at both the breakfast and dinner buffets was really good! I especially loved the melt-in-your-mouth pancakes and baked goodies at breakfast as well as the soft serve ice cream machine at dinner😍 I also appreciated that they also had quite a few vegetarian options at each meal which was great! Last but definitely not least, the staff were absolutely fabulous and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay!

The staff in the restaurant were not friendly. The first day we arrived the waiter who was assisting us was very rude. On one occasion we waited 30 minutes for pizza only to find our order had not been placed. On Sunday we came for buffet and sat for our meal for more than two hours and no one came to take our drinks order. We ate without any drinks. On Saturday when we came for breakfast we wanted to sit outside because there was the smell of smoke inside the restaurant- we had to ask her first to wipe the table. They also insist on speaking to you in Zulu and not everyone is Zulu. English should be the business language, unless I respond in Zulu.

The facilities and staff are absolutely commendable... The hotel is beautiful and situated amongst rhe most scenic views. The entire aura exudes peace and perfect for families and relaxing. Very well maintained and definitely will be recommended. There will be a revisit!

Rooms were comfortable except for the shower area in some rooms which are very small. The buffet is good however it can be too much to consume over a 3 day period. The terrace restaurant that offers al le carte closes too early and room service till at least 9pm or 10pm should be considered.
