The location is great, lovely property, lovely pool and pool area. beautiful view over the sea Very friendly staff. Nice space. Quiet, tranquil close to beach and Scottburgh town

the drive way - very steep, and with my little rental car difficult to get up - if one would not have to stop at the steep gate to open the gate and one could use momentum to drive up in one go, it would be easier I would have preferred to get my cottage cleaned a 2nd time, only got one clean, bin was only emptied once in 9 days. Pillows & Mattress too soft. Kitchen utensils & crockery were a bit sparse

Everything was spectacular. The bungalow was well equipped and very comfortable. The self check in was a plus. The pool area was lovely. Will definitely be going back soon. Generator was definitely great considering the constant loadshedding.

Didn't have complimentary tea, coffee and sugar, was a bummer. The driveway was quite steep, needed a bit of height clearance. We had our 4x4 but the towbar did touch at the bottom of the driveway but with a bit of maneuvering, we were fine.

Beautifully maintained facilities, staff went out of their way to be accommodating, very comfortable spacious room. Aircon, fan, generator during load shedding, Netflix - all bonuses. Easy walk down to Premier resort for diving or meals. Delicious generous breakfast included.

The pictures don’t do any justice, you have to be there in person to see the beautiful view of the place & a warm stay. The place makes you want to bring all your friends & family to experience the lifestyle at the place. Maakie is an amazing host!

We do travel a lot and stayed in many great places before, but nothing comes close to the level of comfort this accommodation offers. If I could give this place 20 stars I would. It's just very well thought through and the attention to details (and what travellers might need) is on another level. Thank you! 😊

This was my second stay. The place is absolutely peaceful with friendly staff. Everyone is very accommodating including the owner.

The only thing that's not comfortable is the drive in. It's a bit steep but that won't stop me from coming again and also referring friends

Location was great for the purpose of my visit, and very peaceful. Self-check-in was smooth and using codes to access the main gate and room keys are excellent for late arrivals. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Good shower and beautiful view of the ocean. Very spacious room. Excellent communication from the owners. Breakfast was very good.

There was no bug spray in the room, only a can of fogger (there was a large and noisy fly in the room). We only discovered the next morning a can of bug spray outside in the common area. The shower does splash (no shower door) and the bathroom floor gets a bit wet, but towels are provided to mitigate this. The pool pump is right next to the room window, and it can generate a bit of noise when it runs.

The decor was gorgeous.. felt like we were in Greece! Surprise was such a wonderful friendly host.

Absolutely nothing

The breakfast was good with fruit juice, muesli, plain yogurt, fried eggs, bacon, toast, coffee and jams. The location is central, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The driveway is steep but manageable.

A choice of how the eggs were cooked would have been nice but this is not a complaint because the breakfast was good and the service was excellent.

Everything was perfect 👌 from the friendly staff, great rooms,shower, peaceful atmosphere, breakfast, we really enjoyed our stay and we planning to go back soon.. We were very sad to leave

Driveway makes things hard especially when you going out but it something you can live with
