Upon arriving at the guest house, it was immediately apparent that the accommodation exceeded its online photos. The guest house is indeed more luxurious than the pictures suggest, boasting elegant decor and a serene ambiance that invites relaxation.The rooms are tastefully furnished with modern amenities, providing a luxurious and comfortable environment. The highlight of our stay was the fast and reliable WiFi available in the rooms, making it easy to stay connected and entertained. And the TV play most channels including all major SuperSport channels. The staff at the guest house were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable from start to finish. One particularly memorable aspect of our stay was the staff's flexibility regarding the checkout time. Due to a delay from a marathon I was participating in, my family and I needed extra time to pack and leave. The staff graciously allowed us to check out almost two hours past the scheduled time, which greatly reduced our stress and made our departure smooth and unhurried.

The breakfast was wow. The ambience, the place is breathtaking. The rooms are very stylish and clean.

Breakfast was very nice, unfortunately due to a school staying on our last night, Breakfast the next morning was served outside which made it a little cold.

Please can you buy a coffee machine so that people have a choice of coffee and not instant!! Also, when you have school children staying please inform them that running up and down in the evening whilst people are relaxing or perhaps trying to sleep 😴

The efficient booking and checking systems, beautiful ambiance at night with the lighting and waterfalls outside, entertainment connectivity, stuff friendlyness and and the delicious buffet breakfast. Well done!

The pool was ice cold, which is understandable given the winter season, however, I do wish to suggest an extra dollar on their prizing just for a heated pool Also, some disposable head wraps in the shower will do.

We arrived quite late in the evening, after travelling ±500km from KZN and was greeted like we were part of their family! The staff was very friendly, professional and excellent in what they were doing. Will definately go back, and without a doubt recommend anyone seeking "a home away from home" to stay with the family Familia Guesthouse.

This place is so beautiful, well maintained and the furniture and finishes are just top!! From the welcome to my check out...I'm so impressed and they went extra to prepare me a breakfast pack fit for a queen. The bar area, outdoor, lounge...just beautiful....Definitely coming back!!!

I loved everything about the place ,more than what I expected. No complains

I struggled a bit to get transport to the mall.i think they should consider partnering with a mini taxi or sitting of some sort for guests who are not familiar with the place for round drives as also v realized there are no Uber or bolts in the area.but overall am happy with my stay.

This is arguably the best accomodation in the area. The breakfast was delicious and the quality of the food was out of this world. Tasted like fresh produce. The food was well cooked and tasted amazing. The garden is heavenly and the lodge is aesthetically pleasing. I absolutely loved everything about my stay. The rooms are modern and super clean.

Breakfast was ok the challenge is that I am on intermittent fasting so I eat after 11:00amv. The room was too small without sofas unlike room 9 which I was in last November which it’s spacious. Another thing issue of dinner should be clarified. What I would like to know is whether friends can visit me during the day and we have a braai? Generally all is fine.

This beautiful green garden is a delight for the eye in an otherwise pale Groblersdal. Room 1 was an absolute treat - spacious, comfortable bed and exquisite sheets. The shower with a big shower head was spa quality. It had everything I would want in a five-star ensuite room. Breakfast was fresh, warm, and served with a friendly smile. Safe parking. Easy access to main road. Loadshedding globes make it comfortable, bring book to read as wifi is off during loadshedding.
