Comfortable bed with an electric blanket, much needed as the room was chilly for an autumn evening. TV had all the stations and the WiFi connectivity was excellent. Host was very generous in letting me keep my belongings in the room after check-out time as I was not traveling out of Ladybrand until later that day. Would stay again!

When I arrived at the gate the intercom was not working and I was unable to get inside. I ended up having to WhatsApp the host to be let in.

Lovely home and place. Just that the main employee cannot speak English and if the host is not around that's a big problem. Also arrange transport to get there before you book coz the locals will try and get 5oo much money out of you knowing you are tourists. Host is very lovely would offer to drop us off at many destinations if she is around.

The non English speaking staff and there was a Todd incident which the host laughed about but we were really startled to wake up and see a little frog in one of my friend's shoes. But these are minors it's really a great place with beautiful scenery all round and a quietness

Zanalee was very welcoming and friendly. Her bubbly personality was very welcome after a long drive. The room and bathroom were spacious and very comfortable. I appreciated having the gas heater and electric blanket as the nights and mornings were cold. The position of the house at the far end of the street was wonderful as it was away from the centre of town.

Communication with the host easy and pleasant, lovely host family! Room was very comfortable, had refrigerator, working WiFi, hot shower, and old building charm without old building problems. Quiet location!

Gate for car park didn’t work due to recent lightning strike, otherwise everything great!

The welcoming was out of this world, even though I was supposed to check in at 2 I was able to do it earlier in the morning and again I was able to check out after normal time because of the delayment at the magistrate court . So I can only say thank you very much 🌹

Host, Zanalee went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our extended 17 day stay. Her gourmet breakfasts were exceptional and we enjoyed them each morning outside at the covered picnic table right outside our room.

Privacy and the lady was very sweet and welcoming

No one checks whether toilet paper is finished or not.Milk was not fresh and sheets were dirty

The guesthouse was very luxurious, in fact, I could not believe that it was so great considering the price. The owner, Zanalee was very friendly and helpfull. We were so impressed, we will stay there again on our way back home.

We had an amazing stay! The owner is super friendly and helpful. She really made feel us comfortable and welcome. The house is super beautiful, it's a really old building. Beautiful decorated. The room is super big and clean. Comfortable bed. Location is good and safe, with private parking area. Everything you need. We really recommend this place!

The host attended to and prepared our breakfast herself and we really enjoyed it. We had a peaceful and comfortable sleep after a long drive. will definitely sleep there again.

Just a minor maintenance, bathroom door needs to be oiled it had a squeaky sound when opening and closing.
