We loved everything and had some good fun at the billiards table! There is so much charm and home from home feeling with the comfortable lounge area and many books to feast your eyes upon. The room was stunning with the amazing wooden floor, gorgeous pressed ceilings and facilities. There is a little balcony to sit outside next to our room for everyone that we found to be a stunning place to mellow and have your wine from the honesty bar - such a lovely place. And Ladybrand has quite a vibe too and found it quite beautiful.

I liked everything about Heritage House. The location was just ideal with nice views of the hill behind the golf course and a private access to the golf course. I was intrigued by the history of the building and the surrounds. The reception and service were exceptional. I truly appreciated the efforts of Micaela and Aletta for making sure I had proper breakfast before I left even though I was the only guest having breakfast that morning. A truly great place!

We stopped over here for a night on the way to Lesotho (easy access to Maseru). The house itself is quaint and very well renovated. It's a lovely old sandstone building that apparently used to be a children's home about 100 years back. The rooms we stayed in (in the main house) were well decorated and clean with all the basic things you need (kettle, fridge, bathroom etc).

The price for breakfast was a little steep. The little town of Lady Brand is a little run-down with really bad roads (which was disappointing because it is a pretty setting)

Breakfast was very good, well prepared and nice portion sizes. Liked the location, the look & feel of the place. Liked the vintage look of the building, with the modern twist inside the rooms.

The ants. Some rooms had ant's infestation in the bathrooms. Room 10 & unit 12 to be specific. Also, room 10 needs a better door lock because that small padlock was not giving. It left a gap on the door and the couple that was in the room did not feel comfortable with that.

The bed for me was the best part, due to long hours of travel that I do, for me the most important is a good bed with a great night sleep, The bed was excellent and they had an electric blanket. So kudos to The Heritage House.

Kosher meal options would have been great if they could have that option in the breakfast offerings.

We were supposed to stay at a small house, but, as the Wi-Fi didn’t work there, we stayed in the main house. The apartment there is comfy, with 2 big rooms and big kitchen. It was a few dark in the hallway and in the living room, what turns the places a few scaring at the night.

We didn’t discover where is the switch of the hallway, and it was so dark. The bathroom is a few cold.

Everything! The place (Heritage 12) was nice and neat and clean. The staff was so kind and hospitable. We loved the pool area and enjoyed the billiards board in the main house. Everything was exceptional.

They don’t mind at all what you do they just take a good care of you. I liked when my family came to see me and they were unbothered by staff members…

Almost nothing at all

This is such a *fantastic* place to stay. I was blown away, and so so glad that I made this my choice in Ladybrand. I arrived later in the evening, and just as I was walking up the steps, the front door opened to welcome me. The room had been warmed up for me, with some nice chocolate on the bed. The staff/manager was friendly and welcoming. The room itself is so well made up. Everything works well, and is good quality. The grounds themselves are very nice and tranquil, and the breakfast is good. The honesty bar is a nice touch. I absolutely recommend this place.

The beda were very hard- not comfortable at all. The kettle gave off a terrible taste - coffee undrinkable No water pressure / warm water during Loadshedding- but not the property’s fault.
