This is a wonderful place to stay, wish we stayed longer. Everything is perfect from the wonderful gentleman at the reception, the awesome food and service at the restaurant to the cosy rondawel we stayed in. Even the friendly horses, goats and pig came to say hello. Next time we will book for a week in this tranquil place.

Everything here was perfect there is really nothing to dislike.

We are a couple travelling with our dog. We loved the intimate contact we had with the animals that roamed free on this amazing estate. The cheeky horses, curious donkeys, friendly pigs, rabbits, birds and dogs. It was magical. The chalets are small, air conditioned and have all the basic amenities. If you choose to stay here, it is not because of unparalleled luxury but because of unforgettable encounters with animals.

Unfortunately, because of a previous incident, the pool is now closed. We also happened to be there on a Sunday, where both the restaurant and bar were closed.

Wonderful hidden paradise at one side of town. With animals roaming and coming to your unit to say hallo. Horses, goats and a black pig. The units are spacious and I can easily see myself spending a week here in the future, in stead of just one night. Staff are friendly and the restaurant on site is great with amazing vegetable options and pizza.

The place is quiet good for relaxation and family we have enjoyed it very much

They must please have doom for the rooms because we have to doom some few crackers and spiders my kids hate 🕷️,but further more it was nice to be there

Scenery and hospitality

1. Load shedding which when it occurs water also goes off. 2. Wish the restaurant did not close on Sundays. 3. Kindly fix the coffee maker from the restaurant, the coffee was served Luke warm. An explanation was that the coffee maker has some challenges.

I liked the atmosphere around the place with mountain hikes, there is no noise around the place it feels very secured. Gate entrance was also made easy. Braai area was magnificent allowing us to cook as well

I didn’t like that there was no water in the morning when we had to prepare to leave it was impossible to even flush the toilet

Great place to stay with friendly efficient staff. The road through Ladybrand is appalling but worth the travel to visit this gem of a place. The food served at the restaurant is excellent. The pizza is the best in town. Good value for money.

There decor is a little tired but the service and people make it virtually unnoticeable.

The setting was exceptional- really beautiful and the cottage was very quaint and lovely.. the beds were super comfortable and cosy

Cooking facilities were very basic but there is a restaurant on the property!

Little Rock is a real little gem. It has fantastic scenery, comfortable accomodation, great food, attentative staff, and lots of things to do (walking, kids entertainment and so on).

The municipality of Ladybrand is letting this resort down by not maintaining their roads in this town. However if you stick to the main road and thoroughfares, you should be fine.
