This is such a beautiful lodge, never experienced bush like this, very wetland and green, such wonderful animal sightings including amazing rhinos, the chalets were so clean with room service daily, enough space for me and my husband as well as our 3 year old with her own bed in the chalets. The game drives were wonderful, they accommodated us with our 3year old and were affordable as well as the boat cruise, a holiday to definitely remember. The braai and buffet evening meals are delicious. The pool is also so refreshing and a good activity to keep a busy toddler happy.

I thought the waters were a bit overpriced and preferred the buffet to the other single meals on the menu.

We spent 3 nights in this delightful lodge. Everything was exactly as advertised, beginning with the stupendous view from the very private individual chalet to the restaurant area. We asked for a chalet near to the central area (personal walking problem) and reception did everything to accomodate. The boat-cruise and the game drive with Maxwell were over the top! Great hippo and rhino-sightings from the boat, fantastic elefant and other game-sightings on the drive. Maxwell obviously loves his job - his passion heightend both drives. A little extra-luxury: the foot and leg massage was a treat!

the Lodge consists of 10 chalets, some smaller and a few little bigger one. Each one has a balcony and most of them have a view on the lake - which is absolutely spectacular. the rooms are very rustic and cute, and you have a beautiful outdoor shower. they have a beautiful garden area with succulents and cactus which is amazing. They also have a very nice pool area. You will get breakfast, and can have dinner a la carte. We booked a boat tour with them, and then it is a 20 Min drive to the Pongola Nature reserve and had a great tour on the lake. Everyone is super nice and will help you with everything you need.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Location is 👌 Activities were awesome, game drive and river cruise was great. Saw many animals and our guide was very good in educating us. Leant a lot about nature. Food very nice and big potions, we enjoyed lunch and dinner. Prices reasonable.

Breakfast was limted especially pancakes, we were told to only eat one which i found very surprising for buffet station. No refills, when fruits are finished they are finished you won't get more. Christmas lunch was very nice but a bit pricey, only mains is buffet, starter and dessert is paid separately, unlike other hotels where buffet is for everything from starter to dessert. Difficult to carry heavy luggage to the room, some rooms like rooms 6 is not close to parking, it would be better if hotel staff can assist to carry luggage. Bed in room 3 need to be changed, it is very uncomfortable

Like described in the web the view was breathtaking, the Garden well maintained, the personal always keeping up to look for our wishes and needs, the nature around filled with life. The house clean and comfortable for us with three little ones

Just a hint, not a complaint: the activities weren’t as clear scheduled and the times changed from day to day. So we had to be flexible- but in the end we succeeded all in awesome experiences. Even we had the chance to see some Leopards!

A very nice place with a bush camp feel but at the same time providing everything that you might need, including massage. Very nice view from the room as well as the restaurant deck. Excellent breakfast and food. Very easy to organise trips and adventures, including game-viewing from a boat as well as Tigerfish-fishing. I can only recommend for a nice getaway for a few days. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The sound of nature, the silence, the birds, crickets and the frogs. The place is magical 💫 it has a special energy, for us, even spiritual. It was so perfect, me and my lady got engaged. The staff was absolutely amazing, everyone individually was so kind 🙏 The food was tasty as well. The landscape is beautiful. Having an external shower is a awesome. We had a wonderful and an Unforgettable experience ❤️

Fantastic view on the dam, outside shower very nice, Chalet comfortable and clean, enormous bed. Breakfast and dinner of very high quality. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Game viewing boat trip on the dam (am) highly recommended, saw lots of animals and birds.

Traffic noise can be a bit disturbing and the swimming pool was not usable, dirty and green.

The location was perfect as we were travelling through Swaziland to the Kruger Park so was an ideal stop to break the journey. The accommodation, meals, view, staff and management were extremely friendly. We will certainly be returning on our next trip to the Kruger but this time will stay a bit longer.

No complaints or issues of any kind at all.

My first visit to this northern part of KZN. Excellent Accommodation, lots of privacy, cosy and neat, great bush experience. Awesome boat trip with so much wildlife to see. The Tiger Fishing experience on the Jozini dam was my highlight. My wife and I enjoyed our SPA treatment. Highly recommended. Whilst here. I did a trip to Swaziland as this resort is on the doorstep of the Swaziland Border.

None
