This hotel was really great – located right on the beach with good transport connections. There was even a direct bus from there to the famous BTS stop, about an hour away. The staff were kind, and the facilities were very nice. I was honestly surprised by how low the price was compared to the quality. While I didn’t have an ocean view, I had a beautiful view of the lake on the other side – also very scenic, especially at night when the city lights reflected on the water. The room was beautiful, the bed very comfortable, and it was well-equipped. I would be happy to come back.

The hotel was an amazing experience! The staff is very competent and friendly, which ensures a great service and comfort. The room was super clean and view was amazing (we got a room on a higher floor towards the sea) and that made our day every morning! Also the hotel has some shops and restaurants in it so you can eat there delicious food too! They even have massage seats in their entrance hall, yeah you need to pay for that, but the price is totally to okay! To summarize this, the hotel gave our trip an extra nice feeling!! I’m looking forward to come there again because this will be my Adress for my future visits! Thanks a lot to the Skybay Hotel Team!! You did a great job!!

The location is in between the Pacific ocean and the lake. It is not too far from the Gangneung KTX station as well. There are a lot of restaurants nearby as well. There is a CU unside the hotel, two other convenience stores on the street nearby. Clean room and facility overall. The bathroom is big and the room size was descent. Comfortable bed and pillows. Easy checkout on the tablet.

I usually try breakfast at hotels, but this one seemed overpriced for the quality when I looked at the photos/videos and a lot of reviews also said it was not worth the price unless you want the virw while eating. So, I decided not to go for it and had our breakfast elsewhere.

1. Location: The hotel is only a 10 minute taxi ride from the KTX station. It is also walking distance from the Gyeongpo Aquarium, ARTE Museum and Green City Centre. You can also get the bus directly to the coffee street and other sites. 2. The room was spotless and well maintained with a beautiful view of Gyeongpo Lake. 3. The staff were very friendly and accommodated our requests throughout the stay. 4. The room comes with a virtual guide that provides easy access to requests, information about nearby locations of interest and restaurants. This comes in both Korean and English. 5. The hotel has many places available to guests including an arcade, karaoke, restaurants and 2 convenience stores etc.

1. The room was quite hot, even when we turned the heating off. The staff did provide us with a humidifier to try and fix the dry air but it was still quite hot overnight.

Bright rooms, Good lightening, Excellent WIFI, Sufficient plugs, Big bathroom Gyeongpo beach is beautiful, wide and white; if you walk along the pine trees to the right of the hotel for 15 minutes or so, you come to Gangmun beach, not so beautiful but with some good bakeries, coffeeshops, and restaurants. The taxi drive from Gangneung station is cheap (and short), the pool area on top of the hotel spectacular (but you have as you have everywhere in South Korea, too, to pay for the hotel pool).

I found Skybay to be just excellent, most friendly and helpful staff, too

We had a corner room with a large window and a balcony overlooking the sea and the lake. The room was not big but there was enough space for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and the staff was very efficient. The location is great; you can go for nice stroll around the lake or the lovely beach. There were lots of cherry blossoms all around the lake, making it a great sight. There are many eating options at the hotel.

There was a kettle for making tea or coffee but there were no tea bags supplied. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel because we didn't feel like a big buffet breakfast but I think it is quite expensive.

View from our corner room over the beach and lake were fantastic! The room was lovely and we ate in the restaurant downstairs every night. The hotel had a Convenience store and bakery too.

The cost for the pool was too high. It would be helpful if there could be more information about things like bike hire facilities in the local area and local bus stops. Overall though we really enjoyed staying there.

I liked the view from the balcony and the top the most. Also the room was nice and clean. The staff was also helpful.

I didn't like that the gym was mostly full of running machines, and I missed a few pieces of equipment, but overall, it was still a great gym for a hotel. Also, it was disappointing that I had to pay extra for the pool as only gym membership is included in the stay.

Hotel was 20 mn taxi ride from bus station and by Gyeongpo Beach.You can use a bus to get there from the station or train station if you do not have too much luggage. Room was comfortable. Staff are professional, accomodating and speak English. Nice walks around the lake in front of the hotel.

Location excellent, infinity pool fantastic, staff very polite and kind. Room comfortable, bathroom nice and the shower had a glass wall with a retractable curtain towards the bedroom.

The hotel is built to host foreign guests, all signs are translated but the staff - although very nice and polite - lacks proper English proficiency.
