This Hanok is located right in the Jeonju Hanok village, close to all points of interest and restaurants. It looks spectacular, it is clean and it offers a simple breakfast. Wifi is fast and the rooms quiet. You are provided with a futon bed, towels, water, toothbrushes, toothpaste and bathroom slippers.

We did not know how to assemble the futon bed :D A little explanation could have been helpful, but we managed in the end! (Not a dislike, but info that travellers may need.) If you are staying in traditional Korean accommodation for the first time, be aware that bathrooms have "wet showers" and no wardrobe, although this is true for many places around the country, not just this one :)

We spent two nights at this wonderful Hanok. The location is perfect and you can enjoy a very good view above the Hanok village. Communication in advance via Booking.com with the owner was perfect!

The rooms are not equipped with beds because you sleep on the ground traditionally. For young people like our daughter no problem, but for older ones like us (56/58) this was quite a challenge! The breakfast consists only of toast, marmelade, tomatoes and bananas with coffee / tea and orange juice. A little bit more variety would be nice.

The hotel makes the hanok experience complete. The location is great, the view from breakfast is the best way to start the day! The owner is very kind, breakfast includes toast, fruit, orange juice and coffee. For those who require a plush mattress and soft bedding, this is the only caveat. The sleeping situation is very traditional, they are floor mats essentially, so I would only book this if you’re interested in a completely Korean experience and can forgo a tad of the usual “western” comforts for it.

Absolutely beautiful building, and the owner meticulously keeps it clean. You can clearly tell pride of ownership!

Only thing to bear in mind is thin walls, which is the traditional style. In most cases, probably it's okay. However, nothing (not even earplugs) will save you from loud houseguests. Even bearing this in mind, I still recommend a night or two stay here.

Great location and beautiful building right in the heart of the hanok

The staff were a little short. While we knew it would be basic and traditional, it would have been good to get large towels and a few more ‚hotel-like‘ inclusions like tea/ coffee (even in the kitchen would have been fine)

Beautiful recreated hanok building, nice second floor views, easy to find and close to everything but away from tourist core. Included breakfast and coffee was a good touch.

Mattress was on the thinner side, but this might have been the authentic experience. Hips did hurt a little after sleeping on the hard surface.

Located in an extremely great part of jeonju, the cafe above was lovely and very welcoming. Walkable distance to the village. Room was clean and comfortable.

There was a small leak in the bathroom but it didnt disturb our stay.

This is a very nice, traditional korean style hotel. The location is perfect, the hotel is right next to the famous Hanok village. The staff was very friendly. Our room was small but nice and clean. Sleeping on the floor was quite uncomfortable, but I can't complain, it was part of the traditional experience. The breakfast was very simple (toast with jam and coffee) but rather tasty. I highly reccomend this place!

The Hanok is really very beautiful and very well maintained. The room was very clean and well equipped. I slept very well. The breakfast was good. It's on the second floor where you have a beautiful view of the village. I had transport problems and arrived very late in the evening but the host prepared everything for me so that I could settle in once I arrived. I had a lot of help finding the hanok. I would recommend it 100%

The location was quite convenient, very easy to reach. the room is small, but for us it was comfortable. the house was very clean with a nice view. No kettle to heat the water. Breakfast was bread, coffee, juice, banana and apple. The owner could be a bit more friendly and not so rude.
