The hosts were super friendly and warm — they even gave us extra gifts and snacks. On the second day, we had to change rooms, and they kindly helped us move our luggage. The view was amazing — ocean right in front, ships passing by all day. Very calm and peaceful, perfect for a quiet break away from the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Breakfast was provided, and the fridge was well stocked. They can also arrange a barbecue in the evening for a small fee (you just bring the food). A convenience store is just a short walk away. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing stay — we’ll definitely come back here if we visit Namhae again!

The host was very friendly, even though we communicated mainly through the chat/translation app. The fridge was surprisingly well stocked (we did not expect that, as this is an autonomous apartment) - there was also a daily basket of breakfast goodies and a lovely bottle of red as a gift. There's a convenience store within a 3 minutes walk and a bunch of restaurants around the area. Now about the main attraction... The view was stunning, with million-dollar sunsets on a daily basis. And in the morning you can have coffee on the deck observing ships going in and out of Yeosu. All in all, Whale's Dream is a perfect place to slow down and relax and we'll make sure to visit again next time we're in Korea. One thing to consider - the roads in the area winding and rather narrow, so one should account for that when planning daily trips, especially if you want to be back for that stunning evening show of a setting sun.

The stay had a simple charm. It was clean, calm, and just what I needed to recharge. The hosts were kind and helped me organize a taxi for sightseeing, which made things easier. You will definitely need a car or taxi to move around as it is a little far from the bus terminal and from the city center.

Amazing stay. The location is great (easy access by car), near the famous rice fields, easy access to the rest of the island. The hosts are incredibly lovely, gifts, recommendations, etc. The view of the hotel is amazing, the surroundings are peaceful, quiet. Couldn't hope for more. The rooms are spacious, clean. Almost like small apparemment and decorated with taste. I would come back if I visit Namhae again! Recommend ++

The location was excellent with beautiful ocean view. Parking was plenty around. The host was wonderful! He was very informative and readily available for help either call or text. He was very attentive making sure our stay was comfortable. He even provided many different selections of breakfast/snack items in the fridge. Highly recommend!

The wooden interior was well built in overall but bit too dark and made the room old. Perhaps an update with bright color scheme in contemporary style?

The location is stunning and you can really enjoy it with the view from the room and the terrace. The room was really well equipped so you can cater for yourself if needs be. The bed was comfy and the shower piping hot! Breakfast in the fridge as you arrive is lovely too so you can enjoy it at your leisure.

There were a couple of mosquitoes in the room, so take bug spray 😁

Amazing location and amazing hosts - it was our first time in Namhae and the accommodation was one of highlights from our trip. The place was perfect for our sunset views and had beautiful views of the town and sea. Also very close to convenience store. We had two rooms booked, both were super cozy and nicely decorated and had everything you would need for kitchen and bathroom. I really recommend booking the room with a spa bath as it was so nice and relaxing to just soak in while enjoying the sea view. The host was super nice and welcoming, I will definitely recommend to anyone staying in Namhae.

It was the perfect location, nothing to dislike

The place was spotless — super clean and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect for watching the sunset, and we really enjoyed the view from the balcony. The host was incredibly accommodating, and we loved all the thoughtful touches — from the amenities and snacks to the small details that made our stay so comfortable.

The view was great and the accommodation was clean. A convenience store and a seafood shop are very close (5min walk). Good selection of snacks and breakfast were provided and the spa was good. My whole family were very satisfied.
