I felt very comfortable and happy here. The room is spacious and clean. It has a small kitchen and nice bathroom. It even has a nice outside area to enjoy. My room had an amazing view of Seongsan Ilchulbong and also the ocean. Seongsan Ilchulbong is 10 minutes walk. Every morning I got up to see the sunrise. Each evening I enjoyed walking along the clifftops to see the sunset. The main street with places to eat is an easy walk. There are bus stops nearby that can take you to the airport or different attractions. A taxi to Seopjikoji for example also does not cost too much. The ferry to Udo Island (from Seongsanpo Port) is a nice 20 minute walk along the clifftops. Breakfast was delicious. One day they even had homemade bread. I was able to wash my laundry at no extra cost. Because the weather was good they hung it outside and folded it once dry for me. The people are very kind and helpful. I hope to visit again.

We stayed for 2 nights and asked for a room on the top floor. It had a really nice view, both of the port and the Seongsan Ilchulbong. The room was spacious, clean and cozy. Unlike some other hotels, there is a separation between the shower and the toilet, which prevents the water from splashing everywhere. Good noise insulation ! We had neighbours, but only heard them when they were exiting their room. We did not use the kitchen, so cannot comment on that. The host was very welcoming, and the breakfast they serve is really hearty.

The pillows were a bit too big for my neck, and the AC took a bit long (15 minutes?) to perform its dry cycle after being turned off. (But these are really minor inconveniences!)

Loved staying here. The lady who runs the pension is lovely and welcomed us with a smile. We were helped upstairs with our luggage by the lady and her husband and told that we could collect our breakfast tray at 8am. Parking is available on site. The room was very clean and spacious, with a huge comfy bed and rainfall shower. We also had a kitchenette, but didn't use it. There was a sea view from our window too. There is WiFi available, but we didn't use it as we had our own portable WiFi. There is a TV too in the room. Breakfast was very tasty, with a breakfast sandwich, soup, fruit and orange juice served to us on a tray, with we took to our room. There was a breakfast counter and two bar stools in the room to eat at. The pension is very close to Seongsan Ilchulbong to watch the sunrise. All in all a great stay and would recommend.

If I had 1 tiny complaint, it would be that it was quite hot in the room, although a portable air con unit was available. Maybe we didn't put it on for long enough though!

The staff were so kind, friendly, helpful and available. The breakfast was delicious, the room was very cute, clean and comfortable, with a mini-kitchen. Filtered hot and cold water were available for free and laundry services were very easily accessible. The location at Seongsan-ri can't be beat; it's beautiful, peaceful, while just a little ways down the road, there are hip and happening restaurants and stores, not to mention the famous and stunning UNESCO world heritage site Seongsan Ilchulbong!

Lady boss was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel so at home. Breakfast was yummy too,with sandwiches/homemade bread,soup,fruits and juice. Lady boss even changed breakfast a little so that my kid could enjoy it more. The room is comfortable and had a mini kitchen. The location is great,super near to Seongsan Illchubong, restaurants and convenience stores and cafes. We enjoyed our walk around the neighbourhood so much. The scenery was superb!

The place is great - from the location to the breakfast. Free parking in the property, which is 10min away from the entrance of the office ticket. The bedroom is great, Korean style with a bed and futons if you wish. Everything is very clean and the room is big. There is a small kitchen in the room of you want to cook, with a small fridge. Breakfast is from 08.00 to 08.30 - they prepare you a plate to take with you to the room - and it's great!

We chose this place after seeing all the wonderful reviews .Well ,it proved true. A very gracious and helpful landlady ,who was always ready with helpful directions . The place is very neat and quiet,So you can sleep peacefully without any distractions in the night .Yet several eateries are nearby within walking distance and so are the important tourist places. The breakfast provided was fresh and tasty .Special thanks to you and your sister for the lift and for showing us the way.We will visit again.

The hosts were genuinely VERY kind and accommodating, especially the lady who was cooking and cleaning the rooms. We had some challenges traveling with a young child (e.g. hungry for toast in the afternoon, wet the bed a little - so embarrassing) but they were kind and understanding. It was also nice to have breakfast in the morning and restaurant recommendations. The room was large, well equipped, very comfortable. And location was fantastic!

The owner is very friendly and helpful . She checks opening hours of dining places that we wanted to go to without us asking . She offered us a beautiful Korean breakfast (abalone porridge) to break the western breakfast monotony. She speaks excellent English and that’s really useful for non Koreans English speakers . Nice and spacious room, big enough to accommodate our family of 4. The room was equipped with all we needed. We arrived late in the evening (we informed the property in advance); the host was really nice and helpful, giving us some tips for the sunrise tour to the volcanic cone nearby. In the morning, we had a good breakfast, very much appreciated after the trip to the cone.

When showering, it's easy to get all the bathroom floor wet. This is a common remark I made during our trip in South Korea.
