Amazing location, plenty of shops and bars just meters from hotel. Big reception area with very comfortable sofas. Lap top and printer provided was handy to do the check-in and print the boarding passes for our return flight. Desk staff Ana and Lydia fulfilled every single one of our queries and Sonia kept our room spotless. On the down side: no full size mirror in bedroom, two females getting dressed up, we could have done with one! If you are a light sleeper you will most certainly be disturbed throughout the night by the buzzing of the nightlife and the odd vehicle driving through as hotel is located in a very narrow street. Lighting in bedroom was too bright with no option to dim it. Suggestion was made to staff to have a wall clock installed behind desk area. As a whole, the staying at La Perla was well worthy!.

We were staying overnight on the day of the national power outage on the Iberian Peninsula (28/4/25) so our stay was not a typical one. The hotel dealt with the exceptional circumstances pretty well. They provided a bottle of water and took us up and down to the room each time as obviously no power meant no lift or key card.

Clearly with an exceptional nationwide situation like a power outage, the hotel could do absolutely nothing about this but it was annoying not to be able to flush the toilet. Not their fault of course!

The room was well equipped for a shorter stay in the center of the city, 25 mins from the nearest beach. It was clean and nice looking and an option for breakfast (but plenty of options for food outside of the hotel too). I recommend during a stay in Almaria, its good for its price and there are plenty of things nearby to visit or to do.

The bed was a bit too soft for our liking and the street was sometimes really noisy at a level, that we heard baby crying for 2 hours in the morning until we woke up (around 7-9). Also it's not exactly the fault of the hotel, but as that part of the city is crowded, there wasn't really an option to park free and we could only go to the underground car park which is 15 euro extra for a day, which is not that much for a day, but that should be kept in mind when calculating expenses.

The hotel has been refurnished and everything seemed really clean. The lobby is really nice, the bathrooms in the room are large compared to the size of the room and in general the hotel exceeded the expectations of a 2-star hotel.

There could be a bit more variety for breakfast - the whole time I was there, everything was the same, they never introduced a new food item

In a good central location decent continental breakfast staff extremely friendly & helpful it was a really good 2 star hotel

We had a room at the back of the building room size was fine & was comfortable for a short stay, but there was no view at all from windows, balcony by bathroom at back of room no too bad at least you could see up the street & let some air into the room, the room next doors bathroom was a configured space attached to our room, hence you could hear shower noise from neighbours

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great, very central. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were very clean.

One of the rooms was very small! Navigating the room at night to use the bathroom with the luggage table at the end of the bed was very difficult. There was barely enough room to pass without stubbing your toes or shins. The balcony was full of air-conditioning fans. The toilet was noisey after flushing. The other room was much better, although access into the room was restricted due to the bedside table behind the door and doorstop on the floor to stop the door, hitting the table.

the location is just perfect and the hotel has a special story (find out at the Kiosk up front where you can drink americano!), the building is not the newest and the bathrooms I think would need some touchup, but it was a great place to be, I recommend it! The breakfast was also really nice and had a lot to offer.

I loved the central location. All the staff super friendly and helpful. Nice to have a refrigerator in the room and bathroom very nice. I really enjoyed the stay and will book at La Perla again, when I return to Almeria. Excellent internet.

The bed mattress a bit too soft. Would have preferred a double bed instead of two single beds in the room. Would be nice, if one could buy some refreshments at the reception.

Great location because it's 2 minutes walking from the main central road and in the city centre. The staff is verey nice and helpful, and they proivide you with a botle of water at your arrival. Breakfast is continental buffet, quality is good. The room was a bit small than expected but the bathroom was very big and overall it was very clean.

The room was quite noisy because on top of the hotel there are flats and the people above us had kids that made a looooot of noise, especially when they were running all over the place. A bit of noise coming from the street too but not so annoying. Airco system was not working properly.

The hotel is on a corner very near the Purchena plaza, excellent for shops and buses. The old town is on the doorstep lots of cafes and little shops. A ten minute walk gets you to the puerto and the playas. Although small the hotel is good for a short stay,.

In our room, which we booked last minute, so was one of the smallest, the main light was seriously bright and there was no bedside light so not the best arrangement. Only one pillow, but on asking there was no problem with obtaining another one. We tried the hotel cafeteria self service continental breakfast one morning, but honestly, it was better to go to one of the cafes withing a few metres of the hotel for the ambience.
