Outstanding location with amazing views! Very quiet and peaceful, with quite extensive grounds to ramble through. The pool is small, but plenty of chairs and huge shaded outdoor mattresses to lie on. The highlight was the most comfortable bed, pillows and chairs in our travels - our room even had a sofa! The dining room and sitting area with huge sofas and an equally huge real fireplace was most impressive. We ate in the hotel and found the menu somewhat limited, but this was because the chef had only started the previous day. The decor is not modern, but it suits the building.

The wifi was very patchy and you had to be near the central staircase, which meant lack of privacy. The access off the main N-433 was difficult to find, so look out for the two blue bollards - a bigger sign would help. Also when pulling on and off the main road it is important to know which way you can turn, so follow the hotel website instructions. We're used to off-road driving and were not put off by the approach. However you note that the lane up to the hotel is very rough at first, but gets better. It is very narrow but there are gateways to pass another car if you need to.

The bedroom was very humid. You could really feel it whenever you entered it. The bathroom was in need of some maintenance (specially the bathtub). The breakfast could have some scramble eggs and bacon, but other than that I liked it. Please add more milk containers because the milk keeps ending. 😥

Hidden Gem in the outskirts of the beautiful area of Aracena. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a very good bath/ shower. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The best bit was the facilities for tea or coffee at the reception area. Very welcoming and friendly reception staff.

Comfortable room. The views are wonderful, it's so peaceful and it was lovely sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine watching the sunset.

There were other guests staying who were there for work and they tended to get up early to leave. There was noise from adjoining rooms. It didn't spoil our stay.

Beautiful, quiet location overlooking the stunning Sierra de Aracena. Quiet atmosphere. Walking paths. Swimming pool with amazing view. Very close to town of Aracena. Great value for money.

The room was a bit dated, but it was clean and we loved the terrace with a view. Breakfast was a bit basic, so after the first day, we opted to eat in town.

The views are amazing from this hotel. It's really quiet here. Our room was spacious and comfy. The girl at the check in was very sweet and really tried to speak English with us. Which made our check in very easy.

The road is a bit tricky. Especially in the dark.

Very friendly staff on lovely property with a wonderful view. Loved the main sitting room with fireplace and the always available tea/coffee. Great place to stay.

Sometimes a slight sulfer smell when running the water and the room lighting was a little dim.

Such a lovely location. Quiet and relaxing. We walked at the back of the property and saw lizards and butterflies. The view was stupendous and the crickets in the trees kept us company. I would recommend this place.

Unfortunately there were signs of wear and tear in the bathroom and our door lock needed a knack to open. The shower head was loose and water went everywhere when I turned it on! Nevertheless it wasn't a problem and did not distract from our enjoyment of the night.
