Staff were very welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. With only 2 days in the town we did not dine in the restaurant but the breakfast, though basic, was excellent and the service was prompt and friendly. We did have a drink in the bar and again the service was superb, and the price good for a hotel bar. Building is 'quirky' with a lot of short staircases, being built on a hillside. Reception is on the lowest (street) level and standing at the front-desk you have rock facing you. An easy walk (downhill) into the town and the café's and other 'tourist attractions'. We thought it was a great hotel and would happily stay again, but those who want easy movement with gleaming stainless-steel lifts everywhere might be happier elsewhere.

The only negative aspect is the car parking, the hotel car park is above and to the rear, access via a narrow street and it is quite a long walk back down round the pool to reception via several flights of stairs. About half the walk is uncovered and could perhaps be a problem in the winter. Possibly best to just park (free) on the street outside.

We liked the comfy bed, fantastic location and the professional friendly treatment of the staff. It was easy to get around the town from the hotel, and we especially liked bringing a fresh coffee and juice to our room in the morning. We took a look at the pool/terrace area and liked the look of it too, we will have to return in summer to try it!

The temperature of the shower was quite tempermental, the slightest touch and it went from freezing to scalding after a few seconds! In the end it was ok though.

The hotel was well located.and the bed was very comfortable.

The WiFi was non-existent. This is such a basic need in today's world that I could not give the hotel more than an 8 despite its other good qualities. And the included breakfast was toast with ham and tomato, OJ and coffee.

Good location. Low price parking available as parking in Aracena looks tricky. Hotel nice and 'quirky which pleased my wife. Bed comfortable shower good, glass 'designer ' wash basin not very functional! All in all a nice small hotel.

The staff were vey helpful & the restaurant excellent. The hotel & rooms are quirky in a nice way. Vey well located.

Directions to parking, the number of steps to/from our room, not able to find a TV channel showing The Masters. Difficulty in communicating.

Breakfast was great , evening meal of Iberico pork steaks in honey & mustard glaze was fabulous. Note. We only ate in the restaurant for the evening because most other restaurants/cafe's in town were shut because it was Wednesday.

Everything about this place was amazing. The staff was super accommodating. Our rooms were great with super comfortable beds. Absolutely everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed in few places on Spain and by far this was our favourite. I must add that you have eat at the restaurant which is part of this hotel. We had the best food – unbelievable – loved it. Can’t wait to come back 😊.

The night we arrived we were told the pool was closed(we were looking forward to Pool … especially our 12 yr old).. then on the third night of our stay a family from Bilbao was told Pool was open amd allowed to swim. The pool was perfectly clean and looked open the whole time…

Beautiful building. We loved the gallery aspect to it. The duplex was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. very comfortable beds. Amazing showers. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was unbelievably good and very interesting. We invited our friend for dinner one night and spent the whole meal oohing and aahing about the food!!! The pool was very pretty. A lovely setting.

The phone in the room didn’t work so had to go to reception or call using a mobile for room service. But this is a minor thing. we didn’t really need it.

Great little hotel very central but away from the bars but close enough to walk to all the town and charming rooms. Would definitely stay there next time we visit.

If anything would have liked a small fridge.
