Very well situated for the Mining Museum.Good restaurant for all meals up the hill. Personnel very friendly and helpful.Secure parking on site, also lots of parking spaces available in the vicinity.Nice views from the room to trees, green areas and a mine in the distance.Would definitely stay again, and recommend it to others.Very reasonable price for the convenience and comfort we experienced

It was difficult to get past the table with the fridge on to the bed near the window. There was no chair or desk

Very clean hostal/hotel. The room was small but comfortable. Plenty of hot water, great shower. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were not operating, but a microwave with some utensils, table and chairs were available for clients to use.

The security gate was a little problematic because we had to ask reception to open it at different times. We suggest a mounted code box would be helpful.

Check in and check out were very easy. The person from reception was very helpful and nice. The room was small and basic but clean and comfortable. There was also good wifi connectivity. So, all in all it was perfect for a solo work trip to the remote are of the Tinto River.

They were open on 1st of May. Very few places in Spain are.

It helps to have basic Spanish to come to this town, so if you are learning it a great find. This is a very good base to explore the Rio Tinto area, there are few hotels in this area so this one ticks the box. You can easily walk to the mining museum and house 21, the former managers house. There are various vending machines as the restaurant was out of service. There is a supermarket not far away and a few restaurants to eat at all within walking distance.

The hotel is built on a hill so the parking at the back is some way by road from the hotel entrance. There is a lift up to the rooms from the car park. The room although quite large only had a stool and no chair to sit on. A little information as to why the restaurant and bar were closed would have been polite.

Reasonable size clean room, comfy beds, central location.

Because we came very early in the tourist season no food was on offer and we didn’t see many staff around. Luckily there were other hostels to eat in. Some noisy guests on the Saturday night.

I liked the rough charme of this place... Breakfast, Dinner and Beer etc. were cheap and a good experience... the room was surprisingly nice... way better than expected... I was able to park my motorbike behind the Hostal - nice

I was worried because of old reviews but it seems that I was in a different hostal. It was clean, a bit of humidity below the window but that's it. The personal was nice and happy to help.

A bit expensive for a hostal but it's the only one in the village.
