Location was brilliant only 200metres off the Camiño trail, supermarket very close and restaurants as well. The hotel was modern but homely. Nice touches like tea/coffee making facilities and lovely toiletries. However, it was the owners who made our stay outstanding on one of the most inconvenient days- the day of the total power outage. They handled the situation with calm and provided the best possible service. Can’t thank you enough Robert and Annabel for your friendship and hospitality. If you are anywhere near the Baiona vicinity do yourselves a favour and stay here - you will not be disappointed!

My wife and I rode the Camino on bicycles and selected this hotel knowing they could securely store the bikes during our stay. We really enjoyed the hotel. It is right on the Camino. Everything was clean and efficient. The first time we arrived, we had a moment's difficulty finding the entrance. It is located around the left side. The verbose manager greeted us pleasantly and escorted us to the garage to store the bikes. Good location close to the Camino. Laundromat, grocery and pharmacy just down the street! The room was well appointed with a tea/coffee kettle, (with packages of each) nice toilet (with some toiletries provided) and lots of light. We had a peaceful and quiet sleep. The breakfast in the morning was a bit "Martial" but in the end we had a satisfying breakfast. I would recommend Hotel Arce and would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful hotel, comfy sitting areas, fabulous breakfast. Orientation is perfect for winter sun & summer shade. Close to the camino, restaurants and bars. Peaceful. Best of English and Spanish b&b - electric jug in room is a godsend. Bathroom supplies included quality shampoo, soap and a range of other supplies available on request. Exceeded our expectations

The basic room size was adequate but not spacious. Could be an issue for multi day stays but was fine for an overnight. The photo on booking.com doesn't do it justice. Looks a lot better in real life.

I had a really pleasant stay at this lovely hotel. The host, Robert, was very kind and welcoming — and spoke excellent English, which was much appreciated. My room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The location is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a good night’s rest after a long day's walk.

The only downside is that it’s a bit outside the main area of Baiona, so there’s not much going on in the immediate vicinity. That said, it’s very convenient if you’re walking the Camino de Santiago, as the route is easy to rejoin from the hotel.

Hotel Arce was a welcome relief in Baiona after a day of walking the Camino in the sun. Robert and Annabelle are friendly and welcoming hosts, and it’s all the little touches that make this place special. Carefully thought out amenities including cooling gel for tired feet after a long day and tea/coffee facilities in our room that add real comfort. The hotel is peaceful, the breakfast is hearty, and the location is ideal. It’s on the other side of town, making for a great jump start the next morning.

A gem of a hotel with easy access from, and back onto, the Camino. Great welcome and information from the owner (a real character), including a recommendation for a great restaurant for dinner. Very quiet area, comfortable room, lovely toiletries (including cooling foot gel), breakfast was the best of our stay so far- granola, blueberries, bananas, delicious croissants 🥐 fresh juice, lovely espresso to wake us up…and all served with a smile.

There is nothing to dislike - it’s a great hotel!!

We were walking the Camino Portuguese coastal and the hotel was perfectly situated on the route. We had a lovely lunch in Baiona first, had a bit of time at the beach, then checked into the hotel mid afternoon. Excellent staff, beautiful location, one street back from the main road so nice and quiet. Next to a church so nice to look out the window. great recommendations for dinner. The breakfast was fantastic. Really couldn't recommend this highly enough, perfect for us!

Robert was very friendly and a great host. Very clean and comfortable room, huge comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities and water in the room were very welcome and the organic toiletries were a lovely touch. Plenty of hot water and a huge rain shower. Breakfast was excellent and a great choice offered. Location was perfect for the Camino just 200 m off the way. Supermarket & restaurants very close by. This really was a great stop on the Camino.

Hotel Arce was the perfect jumping off point for my El Camino journey. Hotel owner Robert was muy guapo!! He made me feel welcome from the first moment. His knowledgeable advice was greatly appreciated, It was quite evident to me that he took great pride in his hotel and ensured that everything from the lobby, the comfortable rooms and bountiful breakfast was done professionally with great care. I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Arce.

We have stayed in hotel Arce in Baiona for 1 night during our Camino de Santiago. The only thing we regret is that we could not stay longer. This place is an absolute heaven on earth. We immediately felt as being at home, the owner of the hotel Robert is the nicest and funniest person you can imagine. Breakfast was also nice including fresh orange juice and all you need to have a great start of the day. This place is a MUST stay if you are around this area.
