The room is spacious and has a comfortable sofa and 2 nice sitting chairs. The beds were well made with nice linens. Marisa in the restaurant was pleasant and remembered me from my last stay. It is always nice to be acknowledged as a repeat guest. In the morning I only have coffee, and Tamara, the breakfast server, was very nice to chat with for a few minutes about the area and she made a great espresso.

I could hear the muffled conversation of the couple in the adjoining room. It would be nice to have a light by the sitting/desk area.

The room was large and the beds were comfortable. We could have lived in that room for a time and been very happy. We didn't have the breakfast but the coffee/espresso was great and the restaurant staff was very accommodating. The desk staff was cooly professional.

I honestly can't think of anything that was a problem

The receptionist found me a room accessible by lift when she saw that I walked with a stick. I liked the way the old world charm of the place was combined with modern comfort & convenience. Stylish traditional restaurant, very good food and perfect service. Absolute bargain. A bit after the fashion of the Spanish paradors but much better value.

This hotel is lovely,clean & we had a large room. Breakfast was varied & more than adequate. It is well located to visit the lovely village nearby. Ideal stopover on way to Santander & we would stay here again.

The room was rather cold but the receptionist turned up the heating when asked. I did ask for an extra pillow but it didn't arrive. We had to ask for wifi code...it wasn't automatically given.

The rooms were large and comfortable. The breakfast was amazingly good, simple, but everything was fresh, well sourced and of great quality. The hotel grounds were very well maintained and quite large.

Odd hours for the kids park to be open, we wished that the info on that was visible somewhere on booking. The air conditioning was living it's last breath, but functional.

Everything was great. In my opinion there are still a few things to renew the property. It felt a little bit "to be made".

The swimming pool wasn't ready for use. It's the beginning of 2025 spring, but for a hotel I think the swimming pool should be clean and we'll taken care of.

Hotel is a little gem in a small town with a fantastic restaurant and facilities. It's a oasis in the middle of a farmland and was home to a bull raising facility in the 70s. It's very comfortable with an excellent swimming pool facility. Really didn't like leaving.

Venue hosts large group weddings etc and it just so happened we were there for two weddings on the same day and night. Second wedding went through to 6am and it did effect our sleep.

The solitary quiet location. The luxuary inside hotel en room. Very refined. The warmth (literaly) in side.

There were plenty of rooms to choose. But md and a couple (male/female) no other guests. Why putting us next to each other (noise of shower etc)? Nothing else.

Beautiful setting near a medieval town. Comfortable amenities which accommodated us as a family.

The only setback was that the pool was not open for use even though the weather & temperature was very warm. Would have been nice to have time to lie in lounge chairs by the pool.

Perfect location as traveling home from Portugal to UK . Wonderful overnight stop . The Restaurant is superb one of the best meals I have had for some time .

Nothing to dislike - menu in Spanish only but hey - we are in Spain . We always manage and the staff try very hard - English is not there native tongue - but so much better than my Spanish , so I applaud them 👏🏼
