Where do we start! WOW absolutely blown away! So glad i found this beautiful and remote place! Rustic and romantic combined for the most incredible stay for our anniversary! So quiet and relaxing! We stayed in the olivia bungalow which was just as beautiful as the photos! Nico picked us up (we didnt fancy the drive 😬🫣!) Lol he took us via a supermarket for supplies for our stay! The swimming pool was lovely in the heat and had incredible views! Absolutely value for money and we would definately stay again!....to be honest...we would have stayed forever if it was possible! Coming home 😭

It was in a really beautiful location and the room was lovely and well equipped. Lots of places to sit and watch the views and a lovely clean pool. If the weather was good (it wasn’t) it would be an idyllic place to spend a few days.

The dirt road is not for the faint hearted. It was worse than I was expecting. There was a video you can watch but I only saw it on my phone so it wasn’t clear. This is my problem as I am nervous but it spoilt our time there and we left early as I was so anxious plus the weather was dreadful. Lots of dogs barking at night. A ring to cook on and hand towels would be a good touch.

The cosyness, and it is perfect for both hot and cold weather. We wanted to barbecue and this was all set up for us when we arrived, we had a very beautiful barbecue view!!! The day after it was quite cold, but it was so cosy and warm in the casita with the wood fire (all the wood was cut and ready for us). It was an amazing get-away from everything and city life. The food we had ordered before-hand was also delicious! Communication with the owners was very fast and friendly.

Everything was good. Just keep in mind that the road there is ca. 15-20 minutes of very careful driving on a rocky road. But very doable, also with our city car. The views are beautiful.

Relaxing place to spend a night - wish we could have stayed longer! Property’s location is remote but that is part of the appeal to get away from the hustle and bustle of Malaga. Apartment itself was well appointed and well decorated. Nico was a fantastic host and provided excellent directions. Property is down a dirt road but didn’t worry us in our hire car - signs were very helpful!

Nothing - everything was great!

The place is beautiful, unique and wonderously remote. The room had great design. The WiFi was good, the water was hot and the kitchen was equipped perfectly. The communication with the hosts was very fluent. We were very satisfied with our stay in Finca Serrato.

The room was cold in January (even with the heater and heating blankets on, and after making a fire in the stove with all the wood that was provided).

The location was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. We liked the adorable interior details and that the room was equipped with everything you might need. The hosts were making sure that we would find our way to the place and it was very helpful.

As it is also mentioned by the host, I would recommend taking some extra time when driving there as the roads there are not the easiest. We were a bit worried about getting the rental car too muddy from the dirt roads but then just gave the car a quick wash at BP petrol station for 2€ and by returning a clean car we were probably able to avoid the extra inspection for any bottom scrapes.

This place is just wonderful! It's remote, so it's great if you want some peace and quiet. Nico and Zelie were awesome hosts, very accommodating and helpful. The house is old and it has a certain charm to it and I love the fact they kept it rustic and didn't try to modernize it, even the doors were the old ones. The bed was comfortable and even though the temperature outside was quite high, inside it was nice. In the room there is no kitchen, but the apartments have one and it is fully equipped. There is also a pool behind the house, which is perfect after a long walk around the area. This is the perfect place to relax and watch the stars during the night. I highly recommend it and will come again! The road is a bit tricky, but manageable even with a small car, you don't need a 4x4 to get there. Basically, when you get off the main road you have around 15 minutes until you get there and it's an unpaved road.

I didn’t dislike anything! But a head’s up for future guests: best reached by car and there is a dirt road for 15 mins on the way to the accommodation, better to get a 4x4 as smaller cars may struggle and damage can be caused due to uneven roads (especially rentals - we realised the hard way and had to pay a hefty fine). For guests intending to work remote - Wi-Fi is a little on and off, not ideal if you have a lot of meetings but it’s to be expected in a remote mountain retreat! Next time I will definitely come to switch off from outside world :)

We loved the place which is in a little hill sorrounded by loads of almond trees and with great views to many mountains. The apartment was great, small, clean and cosy, just perfect for a weekend or few days trip. If you are looking for relaxation it has a great location. The staff also were so friendly and nice, always making sure our time there was enjoyable. Sure we'll come back!
