The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the countryside about 1km from Colmenar. The surrounding views of the countryside and mountains are excellent. This is a family run hotel and their attention to detail and the quality of service is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant has a very good menu of typical Spanish food but they also provide other menu choices for non Spanish travellers, including English versions of the menu. We stayed for 13 days and enjoyed every day both at the hotel and visiting surrounding places of interest.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was as you would expect in a well run family hotel.

The staff were excellent, I don't know but suspect it's a family run business. We were met by a lovely lady, I'm not sure if she spoke English but we managed anyway and had a very nice chat. I booked a room with two single beds as that's all they had left, however they contacted us before we arrived and offered a double bed. The food here is traditional to the area very well cooked and good quality. They have a set menu that starts at 12€ for three courses. But we choose to eat off the main menu. The waitress does speak English. I just can't get over how friendly the owners are

Can't say I didn't like it because I expected it, the hotel is next to a main road which is busy during the day. But we slept with our window open, we prefer it to air conditioning which the room had.

What stands out are the owners, mother, father and two sons, delightful, kind, just couldn’t do enough for us. The father worked so hard taking care of every guests needs, in fact he was running around! The two sons were such a credit to their parents, exemplary manners and kindness towards us at all times. Their mother especially made us rice puddings which were delicious. We would love to return and enjoy this outstanding hotel. Thank you for taking care of us. Christine and Gwynne

We stayed in room 12 which was a beautiful suite with a 4.poster bed, jacuzzi bath, kitchen with microwave and fridge and sitting room with balcony. Room was clean, bed comfortable and all round a very enjoyable and pleasant stay. We were there for a dinner dance, the food was excellent, the amenities were great but the staff that were thereon the Saturday night and Sunday morning were absolutely fabulous, couldn't do enough for you. They are the real assets in this hotel.

A couple of teaspoons in the kitchen.would be good and perhaps rethink the length of the chandelier over the bed, it was a bit low and off putting as it was a spiky shape. It just was a bit intimidating. Sofa needs a deep clean. Just a few little things that would make a big difference.

This hotel is a hidden gem far from the city. You can enjoy the peace and calm embraced by olive trees, and the mountains. The restaurant is offering a variety of local dishes for the 3 meals at a very reasonable price, it’s a family owned hotel so everyone is genuinely caring about our comfort and satisfaction. Also giving us good advices.

Nothing that we didn’t like.

The owners and staff are a wonderful bunch of super-friendly people Rooms are sold on room only basis, but food offering is plentiful, varied and extremely good quality and value Although a bit "out in the sticks", both Malaga and Antequera are easily accessible by car in 20-25 mins as is Ronda (1.5hrs) and Granada (2.0hrs)

A pool would be good !

Location. The views from the room window, the food, staff, size of room. Very reasonable bar prices.

Bed mattress was too hard. There were no plugs for the sink or bathtub. The bathroom was in need of refurbishment. There were a few cobwebs on the lounge ceiling. No English speaking channels on TV.

Lovely little traditional family run hotel, excellent friendly service from all the staff. The room was clean and comfortable and the views from our mountain view room were beautiful. The food was good value and the location perfect for our needs as we were exploring the area.

Nice traditional hotel in the countryside. Rooms are spacious and functional. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good restaurant with plenty of choice on the menu.

The location suited us - we know the area well and had use of a car, but it may be a little far from the village for anyone without a car.

The stuff was more than helpful, the room was very beautiful and we had a terrace with view on the fields which was really beautiful.. In the morning I got coffee for free which was really lovely. Also the food in the evening was not expensive at all but still very good.. We would always come back and can highly recommend this hotel!!

Nothing, but have a look at the months when the Pool area is open cuz when we went there it was closed:)
