What wasn't there to like ! A perfect haven with every detail attended to. From the communication prior to arrival with Jurgen and being greeted on arrival and shown the facilities of this beautifully appointed hotel. The pool area is the real hidden gem, with an honesty bar and heated to 27 degrees we could have spent the day there if time permitted. Close location to the El Torcal de Antequera walk which is a must do. Set dinner was amazing. 3 courses and dietary requirements not an issue. It was superb. Great wine selection to match the meal. Far exceeded our expectations and you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic, homely and stylish Country Boutique B&B. The owners Juergen and Veerle went beyond the normal Hotel experience. Real hands-on approach, friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely, large with big comfy beds and rain showers. Great breakfast and we were lucky to book their Gourmet 3-Course dinner meal for the four nights we stayed. Top quality home cooked gourmet experience, the best food we tasted by far on our Holiday, locally sourced and beautifully cooked and presented with a fine selection of local wines at very reasonable prices. Not to forget the gardens, swimming pool and the views- amazing 360degree patchwork of fields and Olive groves set against the the National Park backdrop. Cant wait to visit again. Highly recommended!

The people who owned the place were very nice, pleasant and helpful, we liked the view and the comfort of the sun loungers around the pool, the little caskra down by the pool area with the honesty bar is nice (although expensive - €3 for water and €3 for crisps (the puffy crap ones) as it also houses a clean toilet for use, some nice sofas, inside and outside, plenty of space to wander away from other people if you want to. Next time we will choose a better room with a more private terrace on the ground floor. V is a lovely chef and the meal we had was really nice, it was my birthday, she kindly placed a sparkler in my dessert and they sang happy birthday to me 🎂

The price of bottled water and you can't take your own snacks or food in from outside.

Nothing, it was perfect.

This place is absolutely perfect. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights to attend a wedding in a venue nearby and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and the hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming. Beautiful views from all round the property. Fully stocked honesty bar at the pool house. There has obviously been a lot of thought put into the hotel.

That we only had 3 nights... I could have stayed longer :)

Amazing location, beautiful views, lovely gardens and pool area. Tasteful decor throughout the hotel, the dining room was especially nice. We were there in winter, so too cold to benefit from the outside terrace and pool area, but we'd love to go back when it's warmer to really get the most from the location. Hosts were very friendly and cooked us a 3 course meal on both nights that we were there. Breakfasts were fantastic. Lots of breads, cheese and ham etc with eggs and bacon cooked to order.

We were in one of the standard rooms which had hardly any storage space. A small wardrobe for hanging items, with one small shelf high up. The room didn't have any drawers, not even in the bedside tables, so nowhere for small items of clothing, or to store the suitcase.

Absolutely beautiful location in the countryside, offering amazing views. The building is spacious, charming, and tastefully decorated. The swimming pool is fabulous. Loved the pool house for hanging out in. Breakfast was good.

Room had air conditioning units under the window which were very noisy. Found the proprietors rather tense and a bit unaccommodating, which naturally spoils the holiday atmosphere! They have a list of very strict rules which would be appropriate for a youth hostel, certainly not for luxury accommodation. Steps down to the swimming pool have no railing, there are no fridges in the rooms, and the breakfast tea is terrible.

Great hospitality. Felt very welcomed from the first second. We had asked for early check in and that was no problem at all although we arrived shortly after 10 in the morning. Extremely solution oriented "staff" (owners)! Wonderful lunch was prepared and served on short notice - transports to and from an adjacent hotel were we attended a wedding was no problem at all. To summarize a very nice stay with very good service - we really felt at home :) Warmly recommended
