This hotel is located on the edge of Antequera, which itself is located on the edge of the Sierra Nevada. This hotel is a typical Spanish style of hotel with nice sized rooms with typical dark Spanish furniture. From our room we had a view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The hotel was very clean with very friendly staff. We ate in the restaurant which served traditional Spanish food, but were very adaptable for my wife who is a vegetarian. The food was really good and would definitely recommend it.

The only criticism would be over the breakfast which was served in the hotel's bar area, rather than in the restaurant. This meant that you were served along with the ordinary passing visitors, and this hotel is popular with the local population.

Los Dólmenes is such a great place to use as a base while roadtripping around Adalucia. The location is great, easy access to the major highways. Our room was super spacious and the bed,pillows were very comfortable. We must mention the restaurant, dispite it's dated basic decor, serves high quality food . We ended up having breakfast there every day during our stay and dinner most nights after a full day of exploring. We would be happily staying there again.

Perfectly located to visit Antequerra, the domens and El Torcal. The hotel has a restaurant which serves some nice food for dinner. A typical Spanish breakfast is served in the bar of the hotel: you choose form a limited menu, while enjoying the lively athmosphere, as a lot of locals pop in and out for a coffee or breakfast. If they served a proper breakfast in the dining area and living up to the standards of the dinner that is served in the in the evening, this hotel would become even more interesting. Overall good price/ quality.

The rooms are quite noisy, but that's the case in a lot of this kind of hotels.

The hotel was brilliantly located for exploring Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Malaga and Ronda (car drive was 1 -1.25 hours each way to the city and back ). It was situated just near a roundabout linking all the major highways. It was bright and clean. The rooms were large and comfortable with a fridge in the room. Dinner was excellent and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was taken in the cafe next to the dining room and was full of local people. The staff were charming and very helpful.

There was no safe in the room. You could not really walk around the hotel as it was on main roads just outside the city centre.

Friendly staff, parking on site, clean, comfortable room. Lovely restaurant for evening meals. Balcony with views. Short drive into Antequera town.

Very limited storage options for clothing. Only a few coat hangers in the wardrobes (asked for and received additional hangars) no drawers at all so had to leave majority of our clothes in suitcase. As it’s close to the commercial/business district I presume this hotel is mainly used by businessmen for overnight stays, rather than longer

The room was clean, comfortable, and big. The bathroom was clean. Every day was cleaning. The hotel location is perfect if you have car. The staff was kind, and helpful. I would like to mention the owner of the hotel who helped with the service in the morning. He was very attentive.

The breakfast service was not always smooth, there was often a long wait and the choice was not very large. A few types of sandwiches, coffee or cocoa, and orange juice. I would expect more from a 3 star hotel.

Cool quiet hotel, with excellent access to road system and plentiful free parking on site. Nice restaurant with very good value offering Friendly staff.

Limited breakfast offerings, so would not bother opting for inclusive pricing as it’s probably cheaper to pay as you go. Slightly whiffy drain smell within bathroom. Room safe wasn’t secured to the fabric of the building, just perched on top of the mini fridge. Lack of a kettle or even glasses let alone tea or coffee making facilities.

Lovely people, characterful in a good way, clean and everything we needed. Good parking which wasn't a given elsewhere on our stay. Close to Dolmen de Menga, a couple of km from the lovely town.

Location is on the edge of a business park, not quite the bucolic greenery shown. But what is shown IS what we could see from our room, just it's a bit curated, perhaps to be expected. Would we stay again? Oh yes!

Its ideal location, cleanliness and warm reception. The “menu del dia” was exceptional value for money. This is an establishment for hard working, staffed by hard working people, that provides quality without compromising value and friendliness.

The grounds need more attention and parking needs to be better organised

Easy to access off the main road, there is free parking. From the off, the owners appear to have done so well in keeping the character of the place, which is well up to a higher rated 3 star. Staff really helpful and courteous. Room was excellent with good aircon and comfortable beds, bathroom was spotless. Public areas were clean. We ate in the evening in the main restaurant, which was a fantastic surprise as the food was excellent, the wine very reasonably priced and the staff brilliant. The interior courtyards serving the rooms on both floors need to be seen to be appreciated. If you normally use 'Modern' faceless hotels, try staying here to see a difference! Would definitely go back, outstanding value for money!

The view from the little terrace/ balcony outside our room was basically of the industrial estate behind the Hotel, but this didn't spoil the overall experience at all. Those that grumble about the location ( well out of the main town) either cannot understand a map, or bother to read anything before booking.
