Fantastic location, splendid views both from the room and out on the terrace where we ate breakfast and dinner on some nights. The room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was a good strength and plenty of hot water. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was fine, some days the very early risers had got the best of the buffet, but as a person who doesn't normally eat breakfast, I ate perfectly well and had good coffee. Special mention to all the hotel team who were universally friendly and helpful. We ate several dinners at the hotel and enjoyed the food.

Very little not to like..perhaps the towels had seen better days and maybe some plain yoghurt without sugar would have been nice on the breakfast buffet, but these are very small issues.

Fabulous location with far reaching views. A lovely little traditional, local, family run hotel. Great place to meet friends if travelling together. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and tidy. Gorgeous coffee in the bar and breakfast was more than ample with fresh fruit, croissants and the usual choices. Will be back.

I would have liked tea/coffee facilities but not having this meant we all meet up in the bar.

The hotel was well positioned, well appointed and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was clean surprisingly deep.Breakfast was simple but beautifully fresh. The hotel also has its own taxi service, which is a lifesaver in a small town like Competa.

It would have been nice if there was a hotel bar for an evening drink or coffee.

Wonderful views over the hills down to the sea and a lovely terrace from which to admire them with a glass of something. We have often stopped here when in Competa and wondered what it would be like to stay at the hotel. It was great and a good way to experience the more local side of Competa rather than sticking to the centre, which tends to full of expats. It’s lively, locals seem to love it and we enjoyed the ambience. Special shout out to the lovely receptionist

Bathroom was in need of upgrade, but was very clean

The hotel was nice and clean and I really liked the little book with poems in both Spanish and Swedish. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and paying attention. The location was great, we were hiking the GR7.

At breakfast a whole travel group from England had taken up all the seats inside and it was a bit too fresh to eat outside. A few more tables inside would be lively if that many guests are there and especially when a large group is eating all at once in order to allow for people outside that group to find a table too.

Great views from the room. Fine breakfast. Easy walk into the center. Had a problem with the pillows, immediately got a new one as requested.

I asked not to clean and put the sign on the door, but at second day they went in anyway and changed everything. Not a big issue, but should not happen.

View exceptional. Amazing memory foam double bed but would have preferred 2 singles with same comfort. Manageress was very friendly and went out of her way to help us. Lovely covered area to sit by bar. Fantastic countryside walk to next village 2km starting beside the hotel.

Would have liked: -a small sofa in our room as plenty big enough as like to spend evenings reading -would prefer a walk in shower

The staff including lily were outstanding and very accommodating I will definitely be back to stay again, pay the extra money for the balcony well worth it. The breakfast was lovely too

The position of the hotel was excellent breakfast most enjoyable on terrace overlooking competa , hotel a little tired but very acceptable, only problem was car parking for some reason gate would not open even tho I followed instructions

The car parking was a problem even reception couldn’t solve it for me

The hotel was in a fabulous location, close to shops, bars and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and breakfast was very good with lovely views from the balcony to the mountains.

The bathroom could do with updating.
