Marc and Charlotte are perfect hosts. From the very first moment, they make you feel at home - with clear explanations of how your stay will be, what is available and a tour of the property. The property has a very quirky layout and even though it sits in the middle of the ‘hanging houses’ of Còmpeta, nowhere seems overlooked by neighbours. None of the bedrooms are adjacent to each other, and our room with the private terrace and beautifully decorated was delightful. A very good breakfast and wonderfully presented at the table.

my room was delightful – authentic, welcoming, clean and comfortable. Just beautiful. The terrace was stunning looking out over the tiny town. I was up early in sunrise was stunning! Marc and his son Nick couldn’t do enough for me. As a solo traveller they picked me up when I arrived in the centre of town on my motorbike, helped me to the accommodation with my bags (a short walk) then helped me find a safe place to park my motorbike. They were absolutely charming. Wonderful hosts ❤️

A beautiful house in a beautiful village. Amber could not of been more helpful with getting there and advice whilst there. Her passion for her home and making sure her guest have a fantastic time shines through. The breakfast was fabulous each morning with beautiful views. Our room was just as you would want in a Spanish house. Amber and Jason have a real eye for detail and it shines throughout the house. We feel very lucky to have found Casa Maroma on booking.com.

There really is nothing to not like about this beautiful gem of a place.

Casa Maroma is a beautiful traditional property in the heart of Competa. Marc & Charlotte gave us a very warm welcome upon arrival & gave great recommendations for dinner on the 2 nights that we visited. Our room had it's own private terrace with great views over the village. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Casa Maroma to family & friends.

Casa Maroma is stunning and I would highly recommend - Amber and Jason have done a wonderful job of keeping it authentic yet also adding a comfortable homely feel to the property with all the facilities you need and great attention to detail. The rooftop terrace with honesty bar is a lovely touch and well worth spending some time on to take in the views. The location was perfect and only a 5 min walk to the main square. What made our stay even more special was Ambers help and knowledge of Competa and the surrounding area, nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to help us.

This B&B is centrally located in Cómpeta and is an absolute delight. A traditional house in Cómpeta with an interesting history. It is just around the corner from the main square, yet still on a quiet street. We felt very welcome and comfortable. We are grateful to Amber and Jason who are excellent hosts, helpful in every way, from their communication before you arrive giving clear instructions on parking via whatsapp, and throughout our stay, including assisting as needed with suitcases. More importantly, they are friendly and courteous hosts that take every opportunity to share information on restaurants, activities and features of the area. In great part they make the experience of Cómpeta complete and must be very proud of what they have created with Casa Maroma. The breakfast is excellent. Good home made selection every morning and very good coffee. Our room was clean, comfortable and restful, good linens, tv, and really all you need. The Casa has a cozy common living room with fire and a roof terrace filled with plants and a comfortable and relaxing lounge area. Amber and Jason shine through in the decoration of their Casa with a fusion of traditional Spanish, with tasteful modern features, local art, and warm beautiful touches of their native Cornwall. Can highly recommend this charming B&B. Would return to Cómpeta for the lovely and friendly energy of the village, and to their B&B Casa Maroma without hesitation.

From the moment we stepped in we were welcomed and knew it was somewhere special. Amber and Jason have made such a lovely job of renovating the property whilst keeping its local charm. We've had such a lovely stay rooms gorgeous and clean with our own private terrace but also access to two more communal terraces to relax in. The communal spaces are lovely too. Amber served our breakfast to our terrace each morning a 5 star service for a 5 star b & b. Location very central but set back enough from the hussle and bustle of the square to be relaxing and quiet. I'll definitely be back

Very friendly owners,Marc & Charlotte who went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay including picking us up from the bus stop. Many thanks to their son Nick for that. A beautiful B&B, great breakfast, very close to main square in Competa. Highly recommended.

A lovely Spanish townhouse in the heart of Competa. Relaxing characterful room with huge adjoining bathroom. Fab roof terrace with two levels. The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us; meeting us when we arrived late & arranging our delicious breakfast early as we needed to be away before the usual time. Only problem was having to leave after just one short night!

We loved everything! Casa Marona is a rare find. Hosts Amber and Jason were incredibly friendly and informative. They gave us a warm welcome and provided so much information and recommendations to enhance our stay and our inward journey. Amber's communication prior to our arrival was most helpful. The location is perfect, close to the main square with several restaurants and bars. The place is a traditional Andalucia house which has been beautifully furnished in a perfect mix of traditional and contemporary style. Our room was beautiful and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was also the most wonderful roof terrace with comfortable loungers and sofas for watching the sunset. To top it all, our breakfast was amazing with a choice of several dishes. All in all this was a fantastic stay. We will certainly return again soon (for longer!)
