This is a lovely, modern and stylish hotel situated in the small town of Pinar. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the decoration and furnishings, and my room was very comfortable. Breakfast was continental and very generous, with delicious, sweet and savoury goodies. The staff were also super friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Pinar, although small, has a few bars and restaurants, mini markets, a gas station, pharmacy and post office.

My goodness where would you start with this hotel - you don't have ratings high enough - absolutely everything was beyond exceptional. From the moment you step in you are met with the loveliest welcome we have ever had anywhere, Gustavo & Soraya really do treat you as personal guest, what a lovely couple. The rooms are stunning, beautifully furnished, lots of lovely touches. Breakfast was excellent, presented beautifully, freshly prepared and a very welcoming experience. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough - we were made so very welcome that we both felt emotional when we had to leave. If you are travelling in this area then a stay in Hotel Lua is a must. I wish them every success in the future.

Absolutely nothing - everything was perfect

Very helpful and attentive host who explained all about the island and walking routes. The adjoining restaurant served excellent food and as our first night we had difficulty in not understanding the language we were helped to choose from the menu.

The village is quite cold in the winter months, and the restaurant was chilly in the evening. Whilst attention has been given to the design, small details are less functional, such as the water power in the hand basin is a bit strong.

So cozy, so nice the hotel every detail is full of love. and so accurate all the information we received, plenty of useful information! When you travel it makes the whole difference passionate people that tell you where to go, at what time of the day is best to have that hike or to do that stop in that view point. This place and the people who run it are amazing, hotel Lua is highly recommended!
