I'd been planning to stay at this unique hotel for a long time before we finally came for our 20th anniversary. How special it is, you can find out from the people crowding in front of it all the time trying to take a picture with the hotel. And having the top part of the hotel for us only was great! Surprisingly, I was astonished with the view at the mountains and loved sipping wine from the PuntaGrande Hotel glasses and looking at the beautiful nature around. I liked the shower immitating waterfall a lot! And the Japanese toilet :-) I appreciate almonds in the room and some drinks in the mini bar. Also a nice choice of travel books in the hall.

For such a high price I would expect a free bottle of wine and more freedom with breakfast and longer hours of serving it (not limited only to one hour from 9 to 10) and more comfortable seats. I'd prefer to have a coffee instead of tea machine in the room. It is good to know there's no TV, for us not a problem though. And the slide door in the toilet didn't close properly and the shower was not working perfectly. And sad you cannot book the hotel for one night only.

Jaw droppingly stunning location. Very clean. All mod cons. Lovely room. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure. Superb breakfast

The owners, Paula and Davide, are a nice couple but there is a strong sense that they are over running a hotel - they admitted as much - and so there permeates a strong feeling of sadness over the property. A joyful place with no longer a sense of joy. The bar, in its stunning location, and which should have been the beating heart of an “out of this world experience”, was left mostly abandoned and the attitude towards it unkempt and indifferent. I understand they want to move on and I wish them all the luck in the world and just hope that the next souls who take up the challenge can reignite the place with the sense of awe the location deserves and demands

V thoughtful Uniqueness of property, both location and decoration, with the property filled with lots of interesting items and automated devices Comfortable beds Great hot showers Lovely breakfast and good coffee, plus a large selection of teas The location is quite incredible, being able to look at the sea and waves all day and night (see additional note)

There are 2 things to note: 1. If you are a light sleeper, the hotel is located directly above the sea cliffs and the noise of the waves can be very loud all night 2. The beds are quite small. At 6’3”/191cm my feet hung off the bottom, otherwise v. comfortable.

Paula and Davide are excellent hosts at one of the world's smallest hotel, which is furnished with great attention to detail. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, and the location is certainly unique. Breakfast was impressive, with a wide variety of fresh fruit, fresh croissants and baguettes, and many other delicacies. After breakfast, Paula took the time to suggest various excursions. The destinations she recommended, including restaurant suggestions, were excellent. All in all, it was a wonderful short vacation.

Puntagrande is a Pearl in the Atlantic Ocean. Exceptional location. Very friendly owners and staff. Decoration, furnishings and fittings of their Hotel is chosen with a lot of passion. Breakfast with daily different freshly pressed juices, choices of teas and coffees, local fruit and jams, Iberian ham A lot of magic

All was exceptionally perfect. Nothing what we didn’t like

Its location, its uniqueness, my balcony, the breakfast, the wine & above all the wonderful staff. I

It was Christmas time, so only place open to eat in the evening at the time was a 15-20 minute drive and the food was very poor & expensive. Other times would prove no problem as other places are open, and I had a lovely good value lunch in one of them.

That was the most unusual hotel I have ever stayed in. Extraordinary environment and exceptional service. Paula and David are superhosts! Will obviously come back to this magnificent place

Nothing to mention - all was excellent

This is the most unusual hotel I ever seen. The rooms, surroundings are fantastic. Stylish in each detail. Surrounded by cliffs and big waves. Very romantic.

Breakfast starts at 9, that was a bit late for us.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious and enormous. Paula and David could not have been more helpful in looking after us.

What a location, best we ever had! Such a wonderfull reception in an exceptional hotel, what looks more as a museum! Spacious, fantastic terrace, natural swimming pool at your place.

Room was too hot at night, unfortunately airco is not possible.
