The location is incredible, 2 mins to the main Plaza, which splits the 2 beaches. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made sure hot water was always accessible for us to make our babies bottles up. Would stay here again.

Parking is a little tricky, although the hotel provided clear instructions about how to find their parking garage. It is very tight getting the car from the street into the elevator. They were kind enough to come out and assist which made things easier. I personally find parking stressful in a hire car as it is so this was a challenge for me.

Very well located if you are interested in the older part of town. It is not my first time, still it is always interesting to use a car elevator to descend to a garage. I wonder what happens when the lift breaks, so if you are the timorous type you may prefer to use a public parking.. A VERY POSITIVE note is that the hotel accepted a reservation for the garage which is quite rare, particularly when they have so few places. This made them earn one point! We reserved a larger room and it was so large that you could almost organize a ball inside. It had a window to the roof and was very well illuminated with lamps in the ceiling, which is rare nowadays. I hate rooms without a ceiling light. Another plus point was that we had a heating unit that could be moved. I did not need it but in many other cases I feel cold and the air conditioner is regulated too low for me.

The bathroom had a small bath, a bidet, etc but none of them had a means to contain water. Meaning I could only use the bidet with water running and could only use the small bath with a shower. This made the hotel lose two points. Breakfast was not bad, but could be improved. Did not like the yellow pillow on the bed... it does look like the thing you use to sit on and not to rest your face on it (which I did not).

The location of this beautiful, attractive resort with its fabulous beaches, old town and marina and its cleanliness and overall welcoming atmosphere was, unfortunately, for us, tainted by the hotel car park experience! If you are not intending to park a car, this is an excellent choice of city to visit!

The hotel car park - whilst being secure and underground, if you drive anything more than a small/medium sized saloon car this is a nightmare! Would suggest that a much less stressful option would be to head straight for the underground car park near the marina (about 5 mins walk away) We had a sleepless night wondering just how we were going to get out of the car park!! Suggest that the hotel might like to reflect this on their website.

Town traffic was horrendous and made worse by a home football match and road works and road closure The property really is in the middle of town and ‘almost’ impossible to find In end had to weave through parole sat at bat seats Took almost and hour from arriving in Gijon to find hotel Has to be said now we know we have rebooked for return journey

It was close to beach and esplanade. Despite the many bars in the area it was peaceful. Parking was underground beside hotel entrance. Breakfast catered for coeliacs with a selection of gluten free bread and cakes on request.

Hotel was a bit difficult to find as access by car was through a pedestrian street. The underground carpark was accessed by lift and space was tight. However it was very convenient to hotel and we got used to it.

- The location was really perfect. - Someone had been smoking in the first room we were given, so the receptionist gave us another room with no further questions. We are grateful for that! - We were extremely lucky to have the courtyard view. The streets around the hotel are a really noisy, vibrant area at night. - The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Extra blankets. - Clean rooms.

- The rooms don't have a fridge. - Only one tiny trash bin in the bathroom. - We arrived at 7 am after a really long night by bus from Cádiz and it seemed the receptionist wanted to get rid of us. We didn't feel welcome. - No other place for the luggage except the wardrobe. Not very comfortable.

Super helpful staff at Reception who were very friendly and gave us lots of advice on where to eat, what to see, and how to get around. Very flexible with breakfast and timings. Overall a great reflection on the hotel and on the people of Gijon! The room had a great balcony and the ensuite was great, as was the room service who made the bed and cleaned the room every day.

The bed was too short.

The hotel is very centrally located, in easy reach of both beaches and the city centre with plenty of bars and restaurants to walk to. The car park is slightly difficult to find being in the basement, reached via a lift. You have to drive across the pavemnet to reach the lift. Wish I'd checked it out on streetview first!! Breakfast was very good value.

Was lucky to get a space in the car partk. Make sure you reserve one before your arrival.

The underground parking was a bit tricky ( maneuvering into the vehicle lift!) but it worked out fine and car was obviously secure. Directions to the hotel and the garage were not accurate. We had to stop in a busy area and ask several people to help. What 3 Words or similar app would be useful.

Great location, underground parking at a reasonable price. Breakfast was great and good value. Staff were lovely. The housekeeping was very thorough, and our room was kept very clean and tidy. The bedsade up immaculately.

I found the bed and the pillow very hard. Also the Aircon seemed to go off overnight, so the room was very hot
