Convenient location minutes walking to San Lorenzo Beach and the City Center. Our room was good size with a big bay window that could be open to let in the fresh crisp morning air but when it was closed the room was quiet from street noise. Nice nice room with a very nice shower with good pressure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had the essentials, good coffee, meats, cheeses, pastries, eggs, bacon, yogurt, juices etc... and was included in the price. My wife is celiac and the staff gave her gluten free bread every morning which she always appreciates. We had an early departure and they made sure breakfast was ready 1/2 hour early on the morning we checked out so we could eat before going to the airport. I felt so bad for the very friendly staff because on our morning of departure the watermain on the street in front of the hotel broke and the water bursting out of the pipe flooded the lobby and an part of the dining room. The staff was really working their asses off using towels to absorb the water and ringing them out in buckets and repeated. Fortunately they had an alternate exit door they took us through to catch our taxi.
We felt our room could have had better pillows.

Very comfortable hotel in the city center of Gijon. Very well located, as the beach, city center, bars and cafés, and also the shops are within walking distance. The hotel personnel were very welcoming and professional. We really liked the delicious omelet for breakfast.
There's a delicious continental breakfast, although, in our opinion, for a 4* hotel in this price category, the selection could be better. The maintenance in the room is somewhat lousy in our opinion, but with lots of available cider, this is probably common in this area.

The location of the hotel was perfect, the staff were lovely, especially when I received some wonderful advice regarding cycling routes. The interior has a very modern style which I liked, the bed and pillows were awesome, and the room was larger than many hotels in this price range. I also liked the small detail of music playing in the halls and garage-that's very unique.
As other reviewers have shared, if you are planning to drive and park at the hotel, the parking garage is very tight, even if you are driving a small or mid-sized vehicle.

Design before practicality. Overambitiously dark colored interior and nonsensical gadgets, like the massive steel clad wooden blocks in the cafeteria serving as tables. Despite the hotel being fairly new, some obviously ill chosen or precariously mounted fittings in the bathroom were loose: basin bowl tap and toilet seat. The main shower head was hanging at an angle due to mechanical overload. Not my problem, but my impression is they gave the interior designers too much freedom to install flimsy stuff. That'll cost them.

Clean, comfortable, modern, quiet, excellent staff (all super plus). Central, soundproofed, close to many bars and restaurants. 10 minutes walk from the bus station, the sea, the old town, the market. An hotel of quality, and you can open the windows, get fresh Atlantic air. Somebody thought hard and it shows, well done.
As with all modern hotels the rooms can be a little stuffy...but the good quality windows open.

The location was very good. Surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. We walked everywhere. The hotel also had its own basement parking, which was a little tight for some, but we did not have any problems. We had to reserve a time slot for breakfast as the dining area is small, and this arrangement worked well. We were given a tray full of savory and sweet food in addition to the buffet. Breakfast was very good. Our suite was lovely, very spacious and was one of the only ones with a balcony as well. Comfortable bed, Nespresso coffee machine and lovely light bathroom.
We requested the hotel to make us a dinner reservation, but this request was refused. Other hotels have always helped with reservations for outings, dinners etc., so this was a first. There wasn't a bidet. Two small bottles of water were only given on the first day when we checked in. Nothing after that.

Excellent location: many interesting locations (beaches, city center, aquarium,...) within a short-walk distance nad there are bars and restaurants neaby to the hotel. Private garage available (extra charge), nice staff, rooms clean and sufficiently large, the breakfast buffet is correct, although not excessively varied
Basically nothing. Be careful while maneuvering in the garage, as it is a bit crampy

Clean, comfortable rooms. Great location.
A few minor things: The pillow that was provided was very high and hard, would be nice to have a second pillow option that is softer and lower. We didn't have a toilet brush in our bathroom, no place to put the hand soap bar. Our key card only worked for one day even though we stayed for three. Sleeping in in this hotel is not so pleasant as you can hear very well the cleaning staff vacuuming and moving beds in other rooms already quite early in the morning.

Spacious rooms. Great décor. Comfortable beds. Perfect location close to both beaches, local attractions, shops and food stores.
Parking is available at an additional cost but no warning is given at the small size of the parking or the difficulty manoeuvring a car in the parking lot. Luckily we had a small hatchback which made the parking a bit easier. I would not recommend a sedan or SUV to use the facility. Breakfast is available but they waste so much food by bringing out a plate to each person full of cake, pastries, bread. Most of it is left without eating by most guests who prefer to choose what they want to eat from the buffet.

Style of the hotel very pleasing, with great attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable.
Not clear when booking that parking was restricted to normal size vehicles. We had to park up the road in public parking at a cost of £18 as in a VW Campervan. Booking.com need to make it more clear about on site parking.
