Lovely Catalan converted farmhouse Stayed here for a night travelling thro to SE Spain. The hotel is located just outside L'Espunyola (a small hamlet - does have a restaurant if you want choice!) The building is lovely and tastefully refurbished to a very high standard. As we arrived c. 1545hrs & it was a 'rest day' & I had missed the whatsapp message on how to checkin! We phoned for guidance. On entry I checked the room - all good & very comfortable. We decided to visit Brioude for something to eat & drink which was a 12 minute drive. We also called in at Avia (small town with beautiful church) on our return journey back to the hotel. Actually found a nice little bar open near the church full of locals around 1730hrs. Very entertaining. We had reserved dinner at the hotel for 2030/45hrs - we were one of three couples. The hosts (did not get names) a young lady who was happy to converse in English / Spanish/Catalan & a young chap serving drinks. Dinner was pleasant and ok in a nice setting , however the food was not quite where it needed to be for the establishment. I had the rice with rabbit (way too many bones & yes I am well aware rabbit is typically that way but one does expect some meat) the octopus sounded great but was a tad bland. However don't be put off on what was a very pleasant stay. Overall, a very clean & professionally run hotel. One point of caution don't leave with the room keys like I did!! I had to courier them back at my cost! Would I stay again, yes but probably eat elsewhere for dinner.

Stunning location for views and not far from Berga for meals and exploring. A beautiful building with some lovely original features, big rooms, big car park, big car park. This seems to be only a 2star hotel, it feels better and with just one or touches I think it would be. Breakfast was the best we had had so far on our 2 week holiday. They also spoke some English which was very useful. There was also a late check in procedure which was great as main check in is before 5pm.

No fridge, coffee machine or kettle, I think this would make such a difference especially in the premium rooms. The only water cooler is on the ground floor. The Wi-Fi on the top floor wasn’t working, nor did the satellite tv tho this didn’t bother us, we didn’t notify the staff either. We hope this place gets busier, it has the potential to be, as in my opinion it’s a much nicer stay than central Berga, like in other reviews we were the only guests staying at the time so it can feel a little odd to be the only guests in a 9 room hotel.

Amazing stay, beautiful masia and amazing treatment from the staff. We got upgraded on our stay to a suite which fit great for our celebration for my cousin's birthday. 10/10!

If I had to say something maybe it's that the wifi didn't reach the top floor but we wanted some disconnection so it was the whole point of going into nature!

The whole ambience of the place, from when we arrived to when we left. The communication between the hotel and myself was great, there was an issue, but a solution was sorted so it did not impact on our stay. The breakfast was very good, fresh and plentiful.

Nothing. But as it is a large gravel carpark, for motorcyclists, a paving slab to park the bikes sidestand on, but that is only a minor issue as we all had our own bike pucks.

This was the first time we stayed here and definately not the last. The hotel is surrounded by nature. Lots of activities such as cycling, mountai climbling can be done from the doorstep of the hotel. Also a good rock-climbing area. The rooms are large and comfortabe. Loved the rustic decoration. Most of all, great value for money! We will definately be back.

There was an issue with water flooding outside the shower. It should have caught in prior routine maintenance. But, we managed to fix it. And it didn’t damp our overall stay.

Breakfast was feast, was amazing. The staff were also fantastic, very friendly. The hotel is located in the middle of the mountains, with all the nature. Total better than i expected.

Great stay at a Masia with great views and access to different towns and walking trails. Great restaurant and amazing staff. Would recommend for a short stay!

The room was great but the mattress could be changed to be more comfortable.
