Lovely hotel room, friendly staff, lovely lodgey bar and sunny terrace

I wish there had been shower curtains, water sprayed all over the floor when showering either in the shower or tub. Wish there was a plug for the tub to take a bath, but I suppose these are discouraged for water conservation purposes so I understand. It would have been nice to have extra blankets in the closet, my partner was cold the first night.

The rooms were large and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean! Beautiful views of the mountains from our room. We had a small issue with my parents' room, and the staff promptly changed it for them. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Walter, who seemed to run the bar, restaurant, buffet, all at the same time!

The location is perfect to go skiing, you can rent the equipment right next to it and then go walking to Pista Larga. Also Conchita, the owner, was present and into every detail. Lovely & inspiring woman!

When we wanted to order something at the bar there was no one attending and we had to go to reception and insists a couple of times before getting a beer.

Staff were very friendly and keen to help us in any way possible. We had arrived on a bike tour and the staff wanted to make sure the bikes were locked away safely. The town of La Monica was very quiet so no restaurants in the vicinity were open. The staff kindly arranged for a buffet meal and accommodated for my Son's wishes to eat vegetarian food only.

Huge ski apartment in summer. Comfortable.

In summer the town is deserted. We ended up eating in a pretty down at heel but lively bar which seemed to be serving the out of season Latin American workers which led to an unusual evening of we visitors and the workers toasting each other, Jaegers on the house and us shouting and cheering on Bolivia, Colombia, Wales, Finland and Upminster. It was the only place serving food. It was memorable.

Staff were really helpful and gave us a lift to the trains station when our taxi didn't show up.

They should reopen the jacuzzis. Also, it would be a good idea to offer a simple après-ski (cookies, tea and hot cocoa, for example, nothing fancy).

Location is amazing, very fresh air and a lot of nature around. We expected a room in the hotel, but for some reason we got a apartment with very nice view and balcony. Apartment were fully equipped.Breakfast was normal, nothing outstanding, but food was fresh and quantity was enough.

Wi-fi coverage was loose.

The breakfast buffet is very nice and filling, great for getting lots of energy to last the whole day. However the BEST thing was the buffet dinner, with the main dishes changing every day it was absolutely delicious and we left extremely full every day. We repeated the main dishes several times and then enjoyed the nice deserts. The staff were absolutely fantastic, remembering our preferences every day and being very friendly and welcoming. The staff were really the highlight of the hotel.

The ski storage area was quite far from the hotel, which was a bit of a walk. We also bought our ski passes through the hotel reception, which unfortunately didn't work when we arrived at the lift. We managed to fix it at the resort office.

Comfortable room and hotel. In a good location, a bit of a walk from the ski lifts, but right in town. Next to a nice restaraunt (El Bodegon). The pizza resturant attached was just okay. Breakfast was nice with lots of lovely pastries.
