After a "mystery tour" along the back roads of Guadalajara we came upon this blissful oasis atop hilly terrain overlooking the mighty Tajo and picturesque pastures. It turned out to be a "magical mystery tour" This delightful spot has much to offer. Our detached "cabin" was spacious, air conditioned and extremely comfortable. The communal pool offered relief from the ambient 36C degrees. The staff were delightful and the food excellent, if simple. The peaceful atmosphere and remote location would make this place an appropriate romantic rendezvous for lovers!!!

The location was spectacular. Beautiful views. The welcome was very good by Raves ( I think I remember his name correctly, apologies if not). He even rang us to offer support before we left to travel to the hotel. Our room was excellent We had a lovely big balcony overlooking the River Tagus as well as a 4-poster bed and a beautiful bathroom. The evening meal was excellent. All told, we enjoyed our stay.

In order to reach the property we had to negotiate the most awful track, full of potholes. The jacuzzi bath was a sunken affair and was very difficult to get in and out of. Also, no desk and only 1 chair in the room. The approach road to the property is a challenge,several kms long and full of potholes. 10 km/hr is recommended!

The food was excellent, breakfast was serve yourself with plenty of choice, the evening meal was a menu choice also excellent. The room was lovely and extremely comfortable and quiet The swimming pool was excellent It could be a little difficult to find as it is off the main road, The hotel rang to give more precise instructions which were really helpfull. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday..........well this is it.

Totally out of ordinary hotel night experience! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Food was great for the tired travellers. The location, privacy and the views are unforgettable for anybody. Originally a remote luxury hunting lodge at high altitude turned into a very unique, green small resort.

We had a flat tyre on the way in and had to change into a spare. On arrival at the hotel the staff asked if they could take the damaged one to the village workshop (4 miles away) for repairs! And they did.

Amazing views from the cueva and restaurant, very friendly staff, incredibly peaceful, beautiful location for the pool and wonderful hammock outside the cueva.

More comfortable patio furniture outside the cueva and it would have been nice to be able to eat breakfast outside.

Location, peacefulness, food. The woman who runs the place - seemingly single handed with some help in the kitchen - is an absolute star. Wonderfully welcoming and good humoured. Highly recommended.

The landscape was incredible. The caves original and wonderful and the SPA was very good. The dinner was excellent and we enjoy the place. The last kilometers to reach the place were compact dirt road but this is the trick to be in that unique place. Staff was very kind and diligent.

For pointing out something to improve we can here neighbors when they speak loudly (and of course we have to speak low for them not to bother).
