Perfect place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding area and relax. Facilities are well equipped and convenient for a longer stay (hiking equipment, store, bars, outdoor activities). The staff is wonderful and helpful. Very nice massage programme offered.

The building is being renovated so it can get loud early in the day, workers participating in the renovation are also extremely loud during the time off. Don't expect wonders from their breakfast/lunch/dinner buffet. Very repetitive and difficult to find options if you have some food intolerance. It's ok for a couple of days, but not for a full week. Beds and pillows aren't particularly comfortable.

Location is very special. Beautiful valley and the mountains, easily accessible hiking trails and lots of nature spots to see. A gem! Breakfasts and dinners were included and they were quite nice. Not outstanding but a nice variety to choose from. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The simple rooms are a bit outdated and worn. All works fine but it would be more pretty in “comfort” rooms (which are not dog friendly, alas). Also, cars stay on a parking down at Queralbs and it’s important to keep notice of the train schedule if you want to go down from Nuria to get some food or do whatever. Trains are rare and if you miss one, you’re out :) No other transport can get up to Nuria except for Cremallera train, keep that in mind.

The setting is amazing. You can only get to the hotel by train which means once the day trippers go home it becomes incredibly peaceful. You are surrounded by high mountains. The buffet is very good and by booking early we got great value. The staff were always helpful and cheerful.

We would have liked a blind on the window as otherwise you are showering by the window … yes a lovely view to look at when showering but less good for people walking past😂

Nuria is a magical place. The hotel was very comfortable, extra points for the beds and sheets - never slept so well in a hotel room. Having my breakfast with a view to the mountains was also not bad at all.

Small thing: the emergency exit light in the room could be dimmed down a lot, it was way too bright. And also another thing, this is not really about the hotel: the prices for the small train from Ribes/Queralbs are way too high, especially considering that the last train leaves Queralbs at 17:40pm. I had to plan my trip around it, and it made timing somewhat awkward in what otherwise was a very nice trip.

Excellent location, facing the lake, with a window view like a painting. The overall comfort of the room was good, breakfast and dinner were delicious, and although there were some communication barriers with the restaurant staff (I don't speak Spanish), I could feel their enthusiasm and friendliness. They also found candles and turned off the lights in the restaurant for my niece's 15th birthday, which was a great surprise!

I didn't find any plugs in the hotel, only a USB port on the small desk lamp, which is not very friendly for non-USB ports and people who need multiple charging ports

Everything was excellent. Especially the staff, in reception, the restaurant and the bar. They were very helpful and always friendly. The room was great - comfy beds, good shower.

I asked in advance if they had any information on walks to do in the area for the season, and was told that I could ask at the information point on arrival. The information point was not open at the hours advertised in the afternoon and when we managed to speak to the man behind the counter he could only advise a 15 min stroll around the lake. He said we were not equipped for other walks (due to snow) and when pressed for information said we could rent equipment in “the village”. Nevertheless we figured it out and managed 3 days of walking without too much trouble and without having a back track to another town to rent equipment. There are a few good walks in the area that are well manageable but next time I would not expect too much assistance from the information point.

Comfortable rooms with nice views. It's in a beautiful location, and great for star gazing at night. The staff was nice and helpful. I was able to take my dog on the trip and the restaurant staff was very patient with him despite my dog being annoying at times. So special thanks to the gentlemen working during breakfast time!

The room was a bit warm; I tried to turn down the heater but the knob had the numbers faded and I couldn't tell if I was increasing or decreasing the temperature. The room didn't have a mini fridge or kettle/coffee maker. However all that didn't bother me too much since I was only there for 1 night.

Located at 2000m in the heart of Vall de Núria, location is 10/10. Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet. Easy access to nearby trails. Fair price

Room is somewhat antiquated, only one power outlet and it is used by the tv. There were USB outlets integrated in the bedlamp but they didn't work. Would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room. Considering the hotel claims it is eco-friendly, I was disappointed to find that there was nowhere to fill up my water bottles anywhere in the hotel. On site bar menu could be improved.

This is a historic hotel, in a beautiful natural setting. The rooms are simple but nostalgic, and they are comfortable enough for a couple of days you'll be spending in the mountains. Breakfast is plentiful, for every taste. The staff is simply exceptional and very hospitable. You feel welcome. It is worth it just for the experience, I would absolutely recommend it.

The bathroom does need a bit of fresh paint and new shower fixtures, otherwise, it's very clean and spacious.

Very relaxing! We were lucky enough to get a room with the river view! 😍 We had a feast during breakfast!

Bad experience from the hotel cafeteria staff! 19/10/24 about 7-8pm We bought pizza and the staff was not friendly with tourist like us. He seemed to be friendly serving the locals (Spanish) but we couldn't help but notice that his mood immediately changed when was serving us. Minor: Bath tub doesn't have drain stopper.
