I had an amazing experience at Blue Windows House Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable, with charming accents that gave the hotel a unique character. The location was perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to the town. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend Blue Windows House Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be returning!

Although the accommodation is close to the old town, the approach and the immediate area is very run-down, reflecting a centre that has been hard-hit by high unemployment levels and economic downturn. However, The Blue Windows House does provide an oasis, as well as hope for better times for the town.

There were no gluten free options available for the breakfast, however, there were options not too far away in the centre.

The property looked modern with an artistic interior design. It's at the center of town so everything is close by. Check-in was easy. Reception staff was friendly and professional. There's a parking lot right next to the hotel (£9 a day) that can be accessed by remote control that you get from reception. The unit itself was spacious enough to have 2 double beds, a sofa, lounge chair, dining table and chairs. The kitchen was equipped with amenities but you need to bring provisions like coffee, breakfast, etc. Sound proofing was very good.

It's a small thing but it seemed that the microfiber kitchen rag had been previously used and dried. The table placemats weren't properly washed.

All the staff were welcoming and helpful. During our 11 day stay we met Sandra a lot on reception. Her fluent English and local knowledge were really helpful in filling us in on all we needed to know about Talavera. I loved the enclosed courtyard at the back. If was a quiet oasis and on sunny afternoons provided a choice between shade and sun.

The wifi was tricky at times and you needed to move around to find the best reception. A small price though for staying in such a lovely refurbished old building.

Sandra the receptionist /Manager? was fantastic as were all the staff including the cleaners. They couldn't do enough for you and Sandra's English was excellent. She and her lovely colleagues advised and helped with car hire and places to visit. I would say Sandra set the tone for the entire place the atmosphere was just right and little touches like the chocolates were great. She took a real interest in us as people with out being intrusive a true professional and a very warm person as were the entire team. I highly recommend blue windows thankyou for a wonderful stay

Nothing it was perfect

We booked this as a stop off, en route to our house in Extremadura. The hotel is very central with at least 10 bars and restaurants within 3 minutes walk. There is an underground car park next door which can be purchased at the hotel for 9 euros per day which was worth it, as due to the central location, there is not a lot of on street parking. Although there were some larger family cars in there, I was pleased we had only hired a little Fiat Panda! Also, to note that in the kitchette, the cutlery drawer is internal to a larger drawer under the cooker. Access to the road where the apartments are located (Calle Cereria & Calle Corre del Cristo) is restricted to access only in the evening, which could be a little daunting for someone who doesn't speak Spanish and can't read the signs. I would definitely book this again if we have to book a pm flight to Madrid, which means we land at 6-7pm in the evening as our trip to our house is about 3-4 hours.

As always a most comfortable value for money stay ( This is our 10th stay here ) Maria in reception was charming.

The furniture on the terrace of our penthouse apartment ( A ) is beginning to look a bit tired.. Arriving by car at the weekend proved difficult due to roadworks and street closures. We had to request special permission from a police station to move barriers and drive through a pedestrian area in order to arrive at the hotel car park.

We had an apartment that was very good value, it was brightly lit and well decorated. It is a charming building with lots of quirky stuff, parking convenient just past the hotel on the right.

We were only there for a day and would have liked the receptionist to have advised us of best places to visit.

This was exactly the space I needed to attend an online class during the day. The room was well equipped and it was very clean and spacious.

The wifi could have been much better.

Spacious, clean, centrally located.

Limited storage space for our gear. More shelves/drawers would be good. Street outside can get noisy on Friday/Saturday nights.
