Walking into the hotel, we were greeted with a warm welcome—literally. The bathroom floors were heated, which was a small but amazing detail, especially after a long day out and so much snow outside. The staff were always around, ready to help without feeling intrusive. And after that, sinking into a super comfy bed with a great view was the perfect way to end the day. Would definitely go back!

If you like a short walk, this won’t be an issue—but if you prefer to stay right in the middle of everything, keep this in mind. The hotel is a bit outside the city centre, which I actually enjoyed (fresh air and a little movement never hurt!), but if you have mobility concerns or just don’t feel like walking, a taxi or car might be a better option.

Hotel is recently built and feels fresh. The views from the breakfast area are really nice and it has free parking for guests very close by. Very good location, 15 minutes walk to Möljen.

We booked the room with a child and I did not get an option to book standard room with views.(suite was not available at that time). So we booked a standard room. When we got there we got a room with no views at all to the sea. At reception they said they usually give those rooms at the back to kids families because they are slightly bigger. Unfortunately there is no lobby with sea views. One can only enjoy the terrace at breakfast time or if you eat at their restaurant. So guests with a room looking to the back street miss a bit of the point of staying there.

The rooms were simple, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful at check in. The location feels a bit industrial when you arrive, but the views are lovely and it was an easy walk along the harbour to the centre of town. Overall we had a great stay.

The walls and floors in the bathrooms felt a bit "plastic", which we didn't love. But they were clean and functional, so it wasn't a problem, just felt a bit less classy than the rest of the hotel.

Great location at the seaside in short walking distance to the village. Food in the restaurant is fantastic, especially the deserts are awesome. Food at breakfast is ok, but don’t expect to get anything personal like being asked about what coffee do you want.

Our room had 2 big windows that we couldn’t even open! Feels a bit like being in a prison. Toiletries like in a hostel, really not OK for this price and level of hotel. Waitress at dinner in the hotel was great, otherwise the staff is not really engaging and welcoming with the guests. You get ignored or left in quiet and piece, depending on your interpretation of very limited interaction.

The hotel is right on the waterfront, slightly out of town. We had a suite with magnificent views. Very quiet with a huge bathroom and modern jacuzzi bath. The hotel is a very popular restaurant and the food was really good, but service a bit slow. Breakfast was standard scandi buffet.

Car park is a little walk away.

Dinner & breakfast were excellent. Huge variety catering for all tastes and dietary requirements. Particularly the fish dishes. Choice of wines very good, a little expensive, it is after all Sweden! The location on the waterfront is only a short walk from the main town centre. It is a town with considerable history. Views across the water were fabulous and extremely scenic.

The lobby coffee machine was very slow. Hardly a showstopper!

A really nice hotel with some amazing views of the marina and Hudiksvall. We had a suite, which was a reasonable size, panoramic windows from floor to ceiling means you have views out wherever you sit in the room, very nice. The big double bed was probably one of the best hotel beds I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping in, super comfy! A small 2 seater soffa and a recliner chair, small coffee table & TV sideboard at one end of the room, with the bed at the opposite end. TV can be seen from both the bed and the sofa. The bathroom is very spacious in these rooms, at a guess I'd say about 4m by 4m. A large jacuzzi for 2 people complete with built in radio, a reasonably large walk in shower plus his and hers sinks, oh and obviously a toilet. My husband says it's the best shower he's ever used and believe me, he's fussy about his showers, so coming from him, that's high praise. The breakfast was OK, nothing special, by no means bad, just OK. Plenty of outdoor seating, again with some spectacular views out over the water. We ate one evening meal at the hotel, service was good and food was nice, prices are around the same as other restaurants in Hudiksvall.

One thing in our room I missed was not being able to open any windows, there is air conditioning, so the room was far from hot/cold, I just like the feel of fresh air and I did miss this.. No mini fridge in room.

We have stayed at Strandpiren many times, but this was the first time the hotel restaurant was open in the evening. The food was excellent. I had the best mussels in wine I have ever had, and my husband had a great fish dish.

The most comfortable treat for an incredibly fair price: we took a suite for barely 200€ and it was an incredibly beautiful room. The view over the sea is very relaxing. The breakfast buffet is of excellent quality. The hotel restaurant is very good. The staff is nice.

Nothing anyone could complain about.

Best is the location and the view, especially from one of the two suites which are facing the sea. One of the better restaurants in the city. Very clean and fresh rooms.

Part of the staff is exemplary, but the are a few bad apples especially in the restaurant area. the restaurant closed a bit early for being the summer weeks. I wouldn’t mind a mini bar at least in the suites.
