Nice location in the city centre near the train station. Got the impression it was an old hotel, but with modern facilities. Nice breakfast, and the dinner buffet, which in my case was included, was really good (the bad thing was that it would be a waste having dinner at some of the nice restaurants in the neighbourhood). Plus for having breakfast from 07.00 in the weekends.

Not a dislike, and it was informed in advance, but add SEK 200 per day for parking if you come by car.

Excellent hotel! I’m very glad I chose to stay here—everything was of outstanding quality, even by Sweden’s high hotel standards. The room was clean and spacious, the hotel uses sustainable cleaning practices, great internet speed, and lovely SPA facilities. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. The place is very clean, the room was very comfortable and I felt really welcome. All the workers are kind and give you more than you expect. It is really a plus to have fika, dinner and breakfast.

The only thing I didn't like was that the toilet brush handle was touching the toilet paper. The brush handle has a high chance of being contaminated with residue that spills from the toilet bowl during cleaning and transmitting this residue to the toilet paper which, in turn, will come into contact with our private parts.

A really friendly, characterful hotel. Outstanding value (we had room, dinner and breakfast). Meals were really tasty and high quality with lots of variety at the buffets. Friendly, well stocked bar, frequented by residents and locals too, which made it like a proper bar, not a sterile corporate hotel bar at all. Fantastic location just opposite the station and adjacent to shopping and riverside walks. Would thoroughly recommend.

Good location - very close to the city center. Dinner and breakfast were included in the room rate. Room was spacious and clean. OK for one night stay. Staff is very friendly and smiling. Ready to answer all the questions and assist.

Choice of food for dinner was quite limited - only one type of meat and one side dish. Breakfast was ok, but despite the fact, that we were asked to book a time slot for breakfast, restaurant was very crowded. Room furniture appears " actively used".

Dinner and breakfast was included in our price. Both were excellent. The lady that registered us was helpful as bookings didn’t label some paperwork right so they didn’t know our room was paid for. She went above in her job to figure the problem. She was also helpful to explain where to park. All employees were friendly. Also had Fika in the afternoon.

I was late arriving the first night. The manager went out of her way to provide me with a delicious hot meal. The breakfast was very good.

No parking on site. but staff gave me clear directions to a public car park beside train station. There was a ticket machine on site that was straight forward to pay.

Excellent dinner. Breakfast was stunning. The location was nice - very close to the train station in the center of town. The decor was fresh. The staff professional, courteous and welcoming. I was delighted with my stay.

Dinner and breakfast buffet was very nice. Location was very near the station and closed beautiful area. Room was traditional design we could find shangdrie. Sauna also nice condition except jacuzzi.

Jacuzzi was dirty I think it has a problem regarding filtering system.

An exceptional stay! Amazing meals, fresh and delicious. Breakfast, dinner, and “Fika” were included. Situated in the heart of Karlstad, the hotel and many sites are accessible by bus or on foot. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. If I’m back in Karlstad this is the only place I’ll stay!
