The hotel is located in central Värnamo just about a 5 minutes walk from the station and public transportation. Convenient for those who like to take the bus to Store Mosse. I had a room with a beautiful view of the Lagan river and the bridge. The room itself was fine too. Breakfast was excellent. A large variety of fresh food. I loved the fresh bread, the fruit, the yogurt and the pancakes with berries. I went to the restaurant once and what I had was good. Good food and excellent craft beer. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

In my room there was a hole in the floor (near the window, under the heater) that was covered with some loose piece of metal. I'm not sure what the hole is good for, ventilation perhaps? I hardly noticed it at first. However, you could hear everything from the room next door through this hole. For three nights this wasn't a problem (maybe the room next door was empty?). The last night was different though, there was a family staying in the room next door and I literally heard every word they said until 1 am. Rather disturbing, and rather inadequate for an otherwise fine hotel.

Location, friendliness, cleanliness, inclusive tasty and diverse breakfasts, nice bathroom.

Reception staff were absent most of the time. No is on the premises to welcome us in or see us out. The room was not as nice as the one I had on a previous visit in February this year. The facilities were not well maintained -Tv ( remote control??) not working, standing light fittings loose, some room maintenance clearly lacking.

Our room was on the side of the bridge and it could get a bit noisy with traffic. Can get warm in summer.

Warm welcome from the hotel host, comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. The hotel was the venue for the event and provided a wonderful pasta meal on the evening before the event. Would definitely go again.

The restaurant was not available for a-la-carte dining. All was closing at 9 PM, so the only solution was to go outside or in the room.

If you arrive by car you better hit the road during daytime. The hotel does not offer private parking, the public lot at the rear is free for only 4 hours until 18:00. 24 hour free parking is available opposite the police station, 10 min. walking distance The restaurant only had a limited buffet in the evening but there are other options nearby
