The location is OK, not too far from the main south-north road from Malmö to Stockholm, but does require a car. It is a pension-style place, probably used quite a lot for things like youth camps. There is a lake nearby and in general it is a nice countryside location. The room was quiet and I slept well, and there are "common rooms" with TV, some books etc. There is a small shop next to the reception, selling local products (berry juices etc), which is a nice touch. The price/quality ratio was good

Most of the time there was nobody in the reception, and it usually took quite some time before somebody turned up. The staff, two girls, were correct, but not particularly friendly. As for the location, it all depends what one is looking for. The place is in the middle of nowhere, though as above, not too far from a main national road. On the plus side it is nice and quiet, but there is also not really anything to do in the area, no restaurants or cafes etc, apart from the restaurant of the hotel itself, which is open at certain times and serves a buffet breakfast and dinner (perhaps lunch too, I was not there at lunch time)

I felt extremely well cared for at a time of year where they don't have many guests due to the nearby National Park services being closed (although the NP can be accessed) as it is no winter destination. Although the restaurant was closed in the evenings on this weekend before Xmas where they have mainly local guests for Xmas lunches, Rianne went out of her way to make sure I got dinner (twice) left in the fridge in the hallway kitchen to heat up in the microwave. Both times with starter, main course and desert. The hallway kitchen also had tea and coffee facilities to be used at all times. The room was very nice with a large bathroom. Everything was clean and fresh. Big shoutout and thank you to Rianne who looked after me so well!

Everything is done with love, care and trust. We arrived late and the key was waiting for us at the reception. The room is modern and quiet, I particularly liked the spacious bathroom.

This hotel is some four minutes away from all the noise etc out by a lake. Nice facilities without elevators etc. Really peaceful. Breakfast and lunch was delicious. Will visit you again

Breakfast was really nice with a lot of options. The location is amazing, right by a lake with stunning views! The hotel room was simple but clean and had everything we needed.

Beds could've been more robust but for the price it was okay.

Problem to locate the reception at arrival.

Great location for our purposes. Quiet location although there is a school very close.

During our visit, there was no dinner served in the evening (although the kitchen did do a sandwich).
