We stayed in a beautifully designed apartment with great attention to detail, offering plenty of space for four people. Fully equipped with a large kitchen and laundry facilities, it had everything we needed. The panoramic water views and wraparound terrace were simply stunning. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, a truly wonderful holiday experience.

The kitchen utensils were not included in the apartment and had to be rented separately for an additional fee.

We had a wonderful stay. It is modern and beautiful both inside and out, great ambiance with attention to detail, the staff is kind and attentive, it offers parking (with EV chargers), the rooms spacious but also cozy, spotlessly clean and quiet, the bathroom is beautiful, the shower is great, the bed is comfortable, the wi-fi works well, there’s a nice patio to sit in the sun, an amazing breakfast is included in the price, it is serious about sustainability and its location is great.

Nothing. We loved it here. Just make sure to reserve a parking spot beforehand by contacting the hotel if you arrive by car and ask for a spot with a charger if you drive an EV. We hope to come back here one day. Personally we love to sit in the sun. We had a room that unfortunately had shade during most of the day. Ask for a room at the right side for sun.

The hotel is floating on the water which is a unique concept. It results in beautiful views from the room. Everything was clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. The sound isolation was incredibly good because we could not hear a sound from other rooms. Perfect central location in the beautiful small town of Västervik. Tasty food, kind staff. Warmbadhuset (spa) was perfect, and we had the whole place for ourselves.

The food selection for dinner was not so wide and the food felt expensive, so we did not choose the hotel´s restaurant every day for dinner. The sliding door motor to the floating building and the coffee machine did not work. (But they offered free coffee in the main building instead)

The room was excellent fantastic view of the sea and city, but there was one drawback. The fan was blowing too much air. on us. We reduced it, eventually we turned it off. But then after a while (in the middle of the night when we were sleeping and woke up) the room became too warm despite being in November. Then we turned the fan back again at the lowest setting. All this was a bit complicated. It should have been a better setting from the beginning.

Rooms were spacious clean and comfortable. View was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good selection. Parking with free charging was very convenient. Several great restaurants in walkable distance.

We were disappointed when we learned on arrival that the spa is closed over the summer. This information was not clearly provided in the listing.

We received an upgrade to a large room with a kitchen and living room and a second bedroom (that we did not need). It had a lovely view! Breakfast was outstanding.

The room we were given did not have AC. This was frustrating as it was VERY warm and opening windows with the street below was noisy. When I inquired, staff said only the double rooms had AC! That was the room I had reserved. Had I known about the lack of AC, I would have asked to keep the “double room with a view” that I reserved.

From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this hotel stands out. Located just a few minutes from Västervik Centrum, it boasts an unbeatable convenience. The staff truly is exceptional – attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist. Each meal was a delightful experience, with delicious food that exceeded our expectations. After a long day of exploring, sinking into the hotel’s comfortable bed felt like a luxury. But the cherry on top has to be the breathtaking view overlooking the Baltic Sea, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that’s hard to put into words. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

We stayed in Room 111. The size of the room and bath were good. And on the terasse we had a nice view to the Marina. Breakfast was really good and there was a wide selection of different food. But it was difficult to get a cappucino for breakfast, the friendly personal was not well trained on preparing capucino for breakfast. We also had two times dinner in the restaurant. Excellent food and good wine.

Exceptional place and staff. The concept of the hotel is thought-through in details - everything was just right. I am very noise-sensitive and this is the first time I experience such quiet environment in room and the surroundings. Waking up at the waterfront is magical. Giving the high mark of 10 for the first time ever :-)

the bed was too soft for my liking when we arrived at the breakfast at 9.30am, many of the food items were gone and the staff had not replenished many of the things to eat e.g. youghurt, cereal bowls, eggs, bread etc quite expensive
