Great location, quaint small hotel that offers great value for money. We also enjoyed the breakfast variety!

There was an instance when guests in the room next door were inconsiderate with dropping their suitcases loudly against the floors, which woke us up in the middle of the night, as they arrived with the ferry - but that was their lack of manners and not the hotel's fault

Beautiful and classy inteiour, nice room, wonderful breakfast. Good location.

Noisy reconstruction works in the courtyard began extremley early in the morning and due to extra warm weather it was impossible to close the window to get some silence. Last evening the noise lasted almost until the midnight. Probably/hopefully it's temporary.

Breakfast was very good, BUT it can be presented in a better way !! ONE larger/longer table with same access to the same food from both sides of the table, at the same time . In that way you will not bump into other guests when looking for food...

The hotel is in the heart of the old city and a significant part of it. The rooms are extremely small, which is typical for the old buildings. The space is used in a wise way.

It could be quieter from the city square. Still, we slept with open windows; The breakfast was excellent but repetitive. I would appreciate a porridge from time to time.

We booked at the Hotell Gute but were actually moved to Breda Blick, Hotell Gute's sister property, due to renovations -- but since they're run by the same folks I feel I can leave a review! We found the Hotell Gute/Breda Blick staff to be totally kind and welcoming and so proactive in their communication. They ordered us a taxi to the airport and packed up a to-go breakfast for us (very good breakfast options, too!) since we had to check out before breakfast opened to make a flight. I obviously can't speak to Hotell Gute's facilities but we found Breda Blick's beds and provided amenities comfortable; both properties are very well-located and Visby is gorgeous. We would definitely stay with the Breda Blick/Hotell Gute team the next time we visit!

The location, staff, and my room specifically were great. My room was small, as I expected after reading the reviews, but it had a view of the ocean and had a very cozy vibe (I was right under the roof on the third floor in more of an "attic-like" room which I preferred since it was so quaint).

It could get hot and since there isn't AC (?) I was sweating quite a bit after sleeping sometimes. But after opening the window that helped a lot to clear out the air.

A nice hotel at a perfect location. Quiet and calm. Excellent breakfast with warm bread, oven omelette, pancakes etc.

Everything was working properly so no complaints.

Tidy room and good breakfast. Friendly service. Peaceful location but still in the center of old town.

We requested a boudle-bed but it wasn't available.

The iron was broken so little pieces of something kept coming out of it, maybe rust?
