The location is quite close to the RhB-Railway and Swiss Postal bus stations (within easy uphill/downhill walking distance) as well as the main-shopping street through downtown. The hotel is a sizeable facility with a large lobby-lounge & bar, as well as a pleasant restaurant on the 2nd floor with beautiful views of the mountain ranges. The food is really quite excellent. This is also the location where breakfast is served in the morning. The rooms are equipped with efficient coffee-machines, a small fridge under the desk, ward-robe also containing a small electronic safe and even a bath-robe for those who wish to use the pool and wellness center. The bathroom, with a walk-in shower, is very clean and well equipped. The facility has plenty of inside/outside parking (CHF 11/day). Overall, I can highly recommend the Mountain Plaza Hotel.

As with many hotels in Switzerland, booking a single, means your room will contain just one single, narrow bed - which by today's standard is a wee bit too small (both in width and length). Davos being a sportive town probably also means that most of the guests are in tip/top physical shape for whom such a cot-sized bed doesn't impede their sleep....but, for us slightly bigger persons, it's a bit less comfy For my next visit, I will splurge for a larger room (probably a double-room for single use) in order to have a more comfortable bed.

We absolutely loved the Mountain Plaza Hotel and highly recommend it!! Everything was perfect. Our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids aged 8 and 10) had the best time. The hotel and rooms were thoughtfully designed, spacious, and clean. The staff was very accommodating in ensuring that we had two sets of connected rooms to best fit our needs. Our view from the balcony was incredible facing Jakobshorn. There were so many things on site to keep us all entertained and happy - swimming pool, sauna, game room, movie theater, and the cozy lobby with games (pool and foosball), plenty of cozy seating, a bar and live piano music. The ski room and on site rentals were super convenient. Breakfast was wonderful and we ate dinner at the restaurant two nights because it was delicious, convenient and comfortable. The location was perfect being a block away from the main street and bus stop that takes you to Davos Dorf (Parsenn) and Davos Platz (Jakobshorn). The hotel shuttle to Jakobshorn and Parsenn was very convenient and we used it each time we went skiing. Would absolutely stay here again!!!

The hotel is modern and well appointed and is situated in a good position just above the main part of the town, thus making for spectacular views of one of the mountains from the restaurant. We were very pleased with our room and found it comfortable. We ate breakfast there and one formal dinner, otherwise taking light evening meals in the bar - all also very good. The bar provided comfortable seating and entertainment every night. The leisure facilities were very good - pool and steam room. Most impressive of all was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, particularly when my wife slipped and had to go to the local hospital urgently.

The hotel has a unique atmosphere, modern, elegant but still friendly. The room was spacious, the bathroom had a normal door that was a nice surprise as in many hotels there is only a sliding door - feeling of privacy goes a long way. :) Coffee and capsules were a nice touch, definitely they know good hospitality. The attitude of the receptionists was spot on: they are very polite and nice, especially the guy who checked us in. We have bought the wellness bag - we still like it a lot. Perfect for the beach! We were happy with the selection and the quality of the breakfast, clean tables and fresh food! Yumm!!! The wellness was empty before breakfast-we loved to swim in the morning!

Hotel is perfectly located and within walking distance from city centre. Friendly staff always willing to help. Breakfast is great with plenty of options to please even the most demanding guest. Beds are comfortable providing a wonderful night rest. Rooms are spacious, clean and tidy providing one with a calm ambience. Wellness centre offers many options and the indoor pool is a must. Parking is included at no extra cost.

Rooms during winter tend to be a bit cold. Heating panel do not provide enough heating.

Mary Ritter was an excellent host and was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my entire stay.

I scheduled a ride to the train station for my departure and showed up at the time designated for pickup, and the different staff members were completely unaware of the request. They said they would order another ride for me, but I would have missed my train if I didn't leave and ended up walking.

Breakfast and spa were perfect. Good food for breakfast and at the a la carte restaurant. Convenient transfer to Jakobshon and Parsen lifts. Central location.

The room was very good but there was no kettle, only the coffee machine. Also the bathroom was a bit old. The shower handle constantly slips out of the grip and it's impossible to raise the toilet seat. The hotel offers various saunas at the spa. However, some were on maintenance, and only a couple functioned properly.

Perfect evening staff, Mr. Moritz made our stay extra enjoyable. Thank you so much! Decent breakfast options. Great view on the mountains from the room and breakfast buffet area. Very large pool under the hotel. We got the new upgraded rooms in the quiet area of the hotel (please make sure you get those!).

There's no airco in the room. With temperatures up to 30 degrees celsius (86 F) this was really a big miss. When we wanted to extent our stay the staff said that the price for the two rooms went up with 75 euro each or we had to move to old rooms in the part of the hotel that is in renovation right now. We decided to go to another hotel.

Amazing hotel with even better staff. Special mention to Moritz in reception, who took really good care of my family and helped us a lot. He spoke many languages so my family were really happy to be able to communicate in their native language with him. Plus, he immediately called us because we forgot something in one of the rooms. He's a 10 out of 10! Beds were super comfortable and brekfast had a huge variety of cheeses and many other things. The views from the restaurant were incredible. Will always come back to this hotel when in the area! Big thank you!

Breakfast buffet was good and varied, the service was of good quality and the restaurant comfortable with a very beautiful view on the village and surroundings. Best of all were the gym, swimming pool, spa area, which were superior in terms of quality.

The room was a bit old and soberly fitted. Could have been a bit more comfortable and cosy interior design. Other than that it was clean and calm
